After the estimate, Marty was able to give us a reasonable time to when he could start the project as well as the completion date. We were in need of installing electrical outlets days before our quartz countertop was being installed and Marty accommodated our request quickly. "JLC contacted me immediately and came out quickly to scope out the job and provide an estimate. Jim seems like an experienced and knowledgeable electrician. I hired him to do the work but was not happy with the workmanship in the end. Jim and his helper made an unnecessary hole in my drywall while installing a new receptacle, then did a bad job patching it. I ended up having to fix it myself. Also they did not recess a quad receptacle in my workspace as I had requested. Had to have them return to fix that too, as well as replace an oversized exterior GFI outlet they installed on the siding. I accept responsibility for that one, as I feel we did not have clear communication about my expectations. They were responsive when I called to complain about the work, and came out to fix everything quickly. I know Jim was not happy, but he remained professional and did what I asked. At the 2nd visit, I paid the low end of the estimate and told them to bill me for the rest, but they never did."
