"I hired this company to build a new deck in the beginning of July. It is now the middle of September and my deck is still not finished. While the time frame is not completely their fault due to material delivery they wouldn’t show up for days at a time when material was available to work with. There were times they would show up and only stay for a couple hours. The whole process was a nightmare. Their lack of quality shows in all areas of the deck. I drafted the plans myself and they were approved by the building department. I provided them with copies of the plans. They messed up 4 of the 5 concrete piers because they measured them wrong. Instead of redoing them. They poured square pads over them that were only poured on the surface for three of them. One of the outside piers was supposed to be 10 inches. They messed up the measurement then poured a 16 inch pier over it that is approximately 1.5 ft above ground. They also cut a sprinkler line that went through the pier instead of pouring over it like I explained to them. I had to replace one piece of siding that met with the deck. I bought matching siding to replace it. The workers broke the siding while moving it. They bought new siding that was cheaper and did not match the existing siding. They additional broke off another small piece of siding that was not fixed. They left material all throughout my yard for weeks, leading to my grass dying and my sprinklers unable to work because they were covered up. Nails and screws were everywhere until I picked them up. The posts were cut short for the railing, so they nailed pieces of extensions on top of the posts. They messed up fastener spots for the rails leaving holes in the railing. They originally used screws for the framing. They had to be replaced with nails even telling them before they started nails had to be used and it was in the plans from the building department as well. They used facia board for the steps until I explained to them what the facia boards were for. Leading me to be short on facia boards for the rest of the deck. They also started the deck flooring using a facia board, realized the mistake and replaced. But at that point the facia board could not be used elsewhere as it was notched for posts. I bought flashing for the ledger that was never used. When I questioned them about it he stated the siding and ledger were already put on. The quality of work was below average at best. They cut corners and I found it very concerning I had to explain to them parts of building a deck."

"Gerald and his team are fantastic! They are friendly, professional, and do great work. Gerald met with us and walked our house to give us an accurate estimate. He was easy to communicate with via email and text to schedule the work to be done. They converted our office into a true bedroom by moving a doorway, adding a closet, and making all trim and paint match. He was very professional and cared about keeping our home as clean and livable as possible during the construction. He laid blanket tarps on the ground each day throughout the house where they would be working and walking and took them up each day before leaving so we could live normally for the evening. He made the cuts for the trim and framing on our deck to keep the dust to minimum inside. He even went to Home Depot to get a new part when we asked him about making a last minute change. I would highly recommend Gerald and his team for a remodel or renovation project! He went above and beyond!"

"Kelle is a good salesman. Unfortunately that's where the good ends. Today Kelle "terminated" our basement remodel agreement because they were "overbudget and have another project to focus on." We have thousands of dollars of work remaining and he "forfeited" $700 of punchlist left to bill - big mistake on our part. Not only that, but he scammed us out of a $1,500 Facebook promotion to take photos of the project upon completion - since its not "complete" we won't be seeing that credit. There is good news - we can now finish the work to a level of quality that is acceptable - we have fought Kelle every step of the way to prevent them from cutting corners which they describe as "industry standard." If you care about the quality of your project, look elsewhere so you don't end up making the same costly mistake as us - we've worked with many contractors and never experienced anything like this. We hired Kelle because we have a new infant and trusted someone would get the project done."
