"I had several doors in my house that were badly scratched up by my little puppies over the years that I initially thought I had to get them replaced, but was hoping maybe I could get them repaired at a lower cost. Through Home Advisor I was recommended couple service providers. They all told me I had to get new doors and get them either stained or painted at way over my budget cost. Jerry was the only one that realized the pinch I was in with regards to budget and recommended repair instead of replace. "When I called Hal Morris (owner of the company) he came out immediately to give us an estimate. I went over what needed to be done and we talked about the kind of wood that Hal felt would be best. Hal was honest about his work schedule (can't work in the rain) and set the date that he could start. Hal worked with two other men. They worked very hard for the first day. They had to tear out the old fencing and gates and dig holes for the new posts. They had to do a little gardening as well (removing weeds) to clear a place for the new posts and fencing. When the cement was poured for the posts, Hal also let me know that they would give it at least 72 hours to set up before continuing the job. He was back when he said he would be. Hal also suggested we use a certain design for the fencing, which we did and it looks great. The new gates took a little adjustment since they were a little different than I thought they would be but I think Hal's design for them is very nice. After the job was done in a timely fashion, I called Hal to ask if he could lower the bottom of one of the gates so our grand dog wouldn't get out. I also called to report that the spring system on one of the gates did not seem to be working even though it was working fine when the job was originally finished. Hal called to say he would get there as soon as possible. Hal was working on other jobs and there was a lot of rain this Summer but he returned fairly quickly in response to the adjustments I needed. He fixed both! Hal is fairly easy to work with and has suggestions for what he thinks needs to be done and what will work best. He educated me in the various kinds of woods that could be used for the job and which would be the best for our purposes. I will be watching our fencing and our next door neighbors to see whose lasts the longest.......I think ours will. Thanks Hal"

"I met with the salesman on May 5, signed the contract on May 7 which included a June 16 start date, July 5 finish date. The start date was changed to June 30th, then July 28. Long story short, the project was finally completed December 31. There were multiple errors, delays, and poor communication. Most of the delays were due to an out of state engineer who is not very responsive, or so I was told. I am pleased with the finished product, and the cost, but the process was grueling. As time went on the communication did improve, and the workers were very nice. I've been told by the owner that many lessons were learned during my lengthy project, which should have been done in 2 1/2 weeks according to the salesman.
Follow up: it's spring 2015 and the subfloor under the linoleum is buckling, which is not surprising. It was left exposed to sitting water for months during construction due to extended delays. It was buckling after that, and all that was done was sanding the raised areas, which was not a solution based on the outcome. I'm in contact with the owner, Clint, regarding this problem and will follow up on how it is delt with. Clint came and looked at and photographed the issue, we decided to see if it gets worse, and if so, implement a repair.
Follow up 2: now that it's warm we noticed many bugs in the sunroom, and discovered that the screen guards were not installed, creating a bug freeway on every door and window, reported this to Clint, waiting now for this to be taken care of, no ETA has been given..."
