The estimator clearly pointed out the issues readily noticeable and once upon the roof, identified others likely to occur. First, one tile was completely missing, and others misaligned occurring from an unknown circumstance. There were visible signs of tile shifting and material breakdown at the peak which needed to be replaced. Henry Forrest and his team did an amazing job! I am grateful for their many years of experience in the east valley."

"I would highly recommend John Scott Roofing. They completed my new roof a couple of weeks ago. Hector, the foreman, and his crew of five worked efficiently and tirelessly. The GAF shingles and other products are top notch and look great. The attention to detail was beyond expectations. John answered all of my questions and explained the process in detail. His price came in $1500 and $900 lower than the other quotes, with better products and detail work. His office staff kept me informed frequently of permitting and scheduling issues."

"To date I have had 3 roofs installed by these guys. All three have been metal roofs. They also installed my neighbors shingle roof based off of my recommendation. On the metal roofs, two were the normal screw down types, and on my personal home I went with standing seam. Those in the know, know that standing seem is the most labor intensive and requires the most skill to do properly. I researched and found these guys on Angie’s list. I called them based on their reviews on Angie’s list. I had them come out and give me an estimate for a shingle roof initially. There price was good and the guy I had spoken with was knowledgeable. I got estimates and spoke with 4 other roofers I found on Angie’s list. They were the best priced and I got a good feeling from their sales rep. I later met with the owner as I was deciding to go with a metal roof. Got estimates and started researching metal roofs. I probably changed my mind several times through my research. I felt confident the owner was very knowledgeable and a strait shooter. I ended up going standing seam. I researched it heavily through YouTube, so I would know how everything was supposed to be done. The whole standing seam install take a few weeks. I ended up talking a lot with the employees as well as watching how they did the install. Everything was done exactly as I had research it should be. Brian and his guys came out and did a wonderful job on the roof. I couldn’t be happier honestly. I am a knit picky person about how things should be done too. They did the standing seam install in 2017. I have had two screw down roofs installed by Quality Roofing since my standing seam roofs. The most recent being in February 2019. They both came out perfect as well. All the screws are in straight lines. They look perfect. Couldn’t be happier with these installs either. They also did a very nice job on my neighbor’s shingle roof. The only thing that could be considered negative about them, is the fact that they are busy. Honestly, that can’t be a strike because they do good work, so they should be busy. I have been very impressed with everyone I have dealt with at Quality Roofing. From the guys on the job acting professionally, to the office staff, and the owner. They will be getting all of my future roofing work."

The fact that Tom is a veteran, and offered veterans discount was a big financial assistance to me, in being able to afford the work that I needed. The work itself was professional, through, and completed as promised, without any unexpected surprises to the cost quoted. "All went well, but if you are considering a TPO roof like I just got, be aware that they are not attractive at all, in my opinion - just a plain white layer. You might want to consider spending a little more for shingles. I wish I had."

"I am not a roof professional. I am a home owner who understands nothing last forever; so, I desired to seek an diagnosis (evaluation), repair and proper upkeep type of roof servicing. My roofs were not leaking but were aged. I scheduled three different roof service companies, from HomeAdvisor, for my roofing needs. I hoped they - as the roof professionals - would tell me (1) what I did not know nor cannot see as problem areas of my roofs, (2) what roof problems, if any, need to be addressed, and (3) the cost for them to do the work. John Boyd did provide me with 1, 2 and 3. However John Boyd 's price was higher than the company I hired. Also, John Boyd failed to identified an additional roof - i.e., that ledge over my home's second story windows - in their examination. Honestly, I did not even think about it, but the company I did hire brought it to my attention with photos. Also, the hired company's price to service three roofs and gutters (house, front and back porch) plus the overlooked ledge roof was less than John Boyd's price for three roofs and two gutters. [I gave John Boyd a three out of five stars rating only because HomeAdvisor's survey does not allow you not to star rate a company you did not hire. I believe this default setting needs to change. John Boyd did not do any work for me so I did not desire to star-rate the company.]"

"Robert reviewed my problem a proposed a solution for the missing shingles as well as the other small leaks on another part of the roof. I had him apply the solutions while he was here. He was vary professional!"

Marshall was different than the other roofing companies, who either stopped showing interest in me as a customer the minute there was not an opportunity to replace my entire roof and bill my insurance company, or did not return calls or messages. I had some roof shingles that blew off due to high winds and poor installation by the original roofing company. Both the father and son Ben stopped by within 24 hours of me reaching out, repaired the roof and inspected the rest of the roof for issues that I may not have been able to see from the ground. They did exactly what they promised, showed up as promised and did not try to oversell the job. Will call them first when I have another roofing job in the future, large or small."
