"Dealing with them was fine until it came down to delivery time. I was told they were coming in in less than 4 weeks after ordering. I met with them one last time to finalize my order, tell them my trim paint brand and color, and give them the deposit. That was on Thursday, Nov. 9. I thought they would be ordered then and arrive early December. Little did I know that they were going to send me a sample piece of wood with my paint color on it for me to approve. I received it on 12/14, and my husband scanned the form that I signed and emailed it to them on 12/15. So that was almost a week wasted right there. Their email wasn’t clear if the first letter of the person’s name was a small l or a capital i. He chose one and sent it. He didn’t get a message saying the email didn’t go through, so he assumed it did. Over a week later I got a call saying that they never received my response. So that was 2 weeks wasted! My shutters were not installed until Tuesday, Dec. 19, just 6 days before Christmas. Needless to say I was in panic mode worrying whether or not I would have them installed for Christmas. So be forewarned when they tell you less than 4 weeks, it will actually be more like 6 weeks."

"The two roofing technicians told me what they were going to do to repair my roof and set about doing their repairs without delay. <br /> The main supervising technician also climbed up on my house roof and walked all over it to inspect it and see if there might be any other repairs necessary. Then, the technicians removed the faulty flashing which had been improperly installed by my home builder's untrained framer. Shingles which had holes in them were removed and several new asphalt shingles were installed to replace the old singles which had nail holes in them.  Next, the old flashing was completely removed and new, higher grade metal flashing was installed to replace the old flashing. Finally, new sealant was applied to make sure that the repaired roof was completely water proof.   <br /> After the repair work  was done, the supervising roof technician showed me exactly what had been done with photos that he had taken with his tablet camera. He said if any more leakage occurred, they would return to take care of it, but he believed that the leak was effectively repaired. The very next day, we had another hard rain storm in the La Grange, TX, Fayette County area, and my repaired roof no longer leaked into the sheet rock ceiling or into the window frames of my breakfast room bay window. I'm very satisfied with the work done by Vincent's Roofing.   <br /> I wish I had called them sooner rather than waiting for the roofer who put the original roof on my house two and a half years ago. <br /> That roofer refused to back up his own work, and his delay had made the damage from the roof leak even worse.
