He explained that he would look at my dryer and then diagnose the problem. After determining what the problem was he quoted me the price for labor and parts. He replaced my faulty thermostats and completely vacuumed and cleaned out the interior of the dryer before re-installing the drum and putting everything back together. He told me to call if there were any issues with the repair. Artem was very polite and competent and did not leave any messes . After various loads of laundry, the dryer is working great. "The employee who was trouble-shooting the problem could not pinpoint the exact problem. So he contacted his boss-the owner--who promptly came out. He knew it was a wiring problem but was unable to pinpoint where in the wiring the problem was. So we then discussed prices of a new unit in case it couldn't be repaired. He later emailed me an estimate for the cost of fixing the problem (still not specifically identified) which was extremely high: $460.00--far beyond my ability to pay. I asked my friends and eventually found someone who knew a lot about air condidtioners & wiring and he and I together were able to trouble shoot & find the exact location of the severed wires which were not difficult or time consuming to find. My air conditioner has been running just fine ever since. I saved $370 by getting involved in the trouble shooting. Tarpy was professional and responsive but highly overpriced with this particular problem."
