"The service person called and got permission to perform a labor intensive install instead of an easy day of tune ups, so I would have heat for the weekend. He performed a walk through of areas to see what heating duck would benefit from some extra insulation.

Complete explanation of how my heating system works. WOW, I know for sure this was a person dedicated to put the customer needs first. Now I want to say that it was inside this person, Matt, which means if this represents Vander Hyde, go with them."

"I specified that it was a tankless water heater, yet not surprisingly I was referred to a plumber who didn't know anything about tankless heaters, resulting in a waste of a couple of days. The second person did know about them, and so far the repair is working (fingers crossed). I wish CHW would pay attention to the details in my claim."

I service residential and commercial heating and cooling. I also work on commercial refrigeration. I also install new water heaters. I install gas piping.\nI am licensed and insured.

"Well, the first time the replacement was ordered it was the wrong one, which of course, delayed the installation a week. When it was finally installed I had to pay an additional $850 for code upgrades. This I was not informed of by Home Shield. Then we noticed that there was water on the garage floor and found that the pipe coming in from the wall was leaking at the wall so had to call the plumbing company back out to fix it. They first tried to say it was not their fault but since there wasn't a leak before they installed they did fix it. I have used Home Shield a few times before and never had a problem. Some of the companies they use are not the best so you have to research them before you commit. I have found HS service to be good if you do your homework. At the end of the day I was without hot water for almost 3 weeks but it was do to the plumbing company they sent out."
