"Over a period of decades I have searched for a computer repair company that I could truly TRUST. I just could not find one until last week when I found Buddy at Aplus Computer Repair via HomeAdvisor. My computer programs were freezing up --- this was an escalating problem and I knew they would soon become unusable. I do some remote bookkeeping for clients and cannot do without my computer! When I called Dell about getting an appointment with one of their techs, they said "Your system is over 5 years old --- you need to buy all new"! When I finally got on the phone with Buddy, he said it sounded like I needed a new hard drive and a major cleaning. He picked it up on Tuesday and brought it back on Thursday! "After his analysis, he did not charge me anything, but sent me to another laptop repair person whom he knew and trusted, a guy named Brian with Laptop Repair in Denver. That person continued with the repairs and Mark picked up the computer, brought it again to me and checked it out in my apartment. He found some problems that he said would take more time to fix, some that I was not aware of, took the computer to his home for further correction of problems he had discovered. When he brought the computer back to me, it worked well, and he had added Skype, Windows Word, and Norton Security Suite, free of charge! I know Windows is about $100 itself! He even allowed me to make payments since he knew my only income was from Social Security. I am a registered nurse and plan to get back into nursing, since I have had both shoulders replaced and am now ready to work. "My computer got a virus a while ago and I tried some things here and there on my own to fix the situation.  However,  I do not have enough computer knowledge to do this.  I did some searching on Craigslist and found Ricky's ad.  I called  mid afternoon and explained my problem to him.  He told me what he could do and what the potential problem was.  He explained that the virus I had may be hidden under a different name compared to the other files.  He advised me to "factory reset" my computer.  He walked me through each step of the process from beginning to end.  He backed up all my files and restored my computer.  He did put all my files back to where I had saved them.  This includes documents, pictures, etc.  I dropped the computer off at about 3pm Tuesday afternoon.  He said that I would be able to pick it up the following day within 24 hours.  He even said if I needed it that night, it would be ready.  I have gotten my computer back and have been using it.  Ricky made it faster and installed a different operating system, which helps the computer run.  I am highly impressed by Ricky and the work that was performed.  I thought $125 was a reasonable price for a "factory reset" and upgrades.  He is highly knowledgeable about the computer industry and can help guide you into making the correct decision.  I have his card and will continue to use him in the future for all computer related issues.  Thanks Ricky!  Please feel free to give out my name and number for a reference. <br /> <br /> Jason and Lauren Oliver"
