"We bought 17 windows and had them installed. Our sales person, Marlo, was excellent. There was no pressure. The installation went seamlessly. The installation crew was thorough and careful. They were careful to clean up after their work. The windows look great and are a big improvement over the new construction windows our builder installed. Our sales representative was Marko. The installation crew was: Chris, little Chris, Julian, Gustavo, and Chuy."

"They came out the same day I called to give me an estimate for replacing the tempered glass on my patio door. Ernest was very professional. Debra at their office was great about letting me know how long it was going to take to get the replacement glass. When it came in they were able to come earlier in the day which was nice and Ernest replaced the glass very quickly. The only problem I have is that it looks much better than my old glass. Very professional! Very friendly and helpful! I will use them again!"

"I have one thing to say to D & D Window Service. WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN FOR THE PAST TWO YEARS?? I have tried everything under the sun, including another window cleaning company in town, to make my windows sparkle. NOTHING has worked. I found D & D on Angie's List, and in desperation, gave them a call. Dale, the owner, is a very personable chap who arrived promptly for our scheduled appointment. He was like a flea in a mitt...boy is he fast, but his work is FLAWLESS. He emphasized several times that if I were to find any streaks or anything I wasn't pleased with that he would promptly return. Wow. My husband and I purchased our home in Sonoma Ranch because of the breathtaking Organ Mountain views. This is the first morning that we have enjoyed the sunrise from inside our home without looking through streaks and spots! <br />"

"A professional contractor came with two helpers to install the double paned windows.  They were friendly and efficient.  We were very pleased with the work.  We were not happy with one window and they replaced it.  We would use them again. <br />"

"The experience was fine. My wife could give you more details, but I would say we had no complaints and are satisfied. The ones we had were somewhat faded and we were hoping for a more energy efficient window. They were successful in doing that because it cooled the house down a little bit. We got exactly what we expected and did not have any issues at all. I don't think it was a screaming deal, but I thought it was a fair price. <br /> <br /> They replaced about a half-dozen windows with low-E windows."

"We had major stucco damage to an exterior wall that needed to be rebuilt and totally restuccoed, along with other stucco cracks and repairs on the exterior walls and parapets of our house. Double R came in and made the house look like new, repairing damaged window casings and drywall inside, as well that had been affected by the water damage. Then we had the entire house repainted. Each day the crew showed up on time, worked dilligently and professionally, and cleaned up meticulously. Everyone in the company that we dealt with was amazing. It was a huge investment for us and they were understanding of our concerns and always willing to answer questions. They were kind to us and our beloved pet. At the end of the job, Jaime walked through with his guys to point out minor details he wanted completed before turning it over to us. Then he did a final walk-through with us. Jaime had said he not only wanted to be our contractor on this project, but our contractor for life. And he has us sold. Our house looks better than ever and we cannot say enough about our experience with Jaime and the Double R Family!"

FAQs for new windows service projects in Las Cruces, NM

Yes, bay windows add value to a home. They enhance the property by expanding the interior space and flooding rooms with natural light. Their unique three-panel design creates a stunning focal point that elevates curb appeal and modernizes living areas. This architectural detail increases both functional space and visual appeal, directly contributing to higher home resale value.

Yes, all window types have the potential to become part of a bay window configuration when modified correctly. The transformation involves reconfiguring standard windows into a multi-panel design that features a larger central window flanked by smaller ones. This process requires precise professional planning and custom framing to ensure durability, visual balance, and structural integrity.

Bay windows typically consist of three glass panels extending beyond the home's exterior walls, with a larger center panel flanked by two smaller ones. In contrast, bow windows are composed of four to six equally sized glass panels that create a gentle curve and do not extend as far from the exterior walls.

Bay windows cost more than standard windows because their expansive, multi-panel design requires additional materials and skilled labor. Their construction involves extra glass, specialized frame components that extend outward, and complex operating mechanisms. These technical demands necessitate precise engineering and multiple expert installations, thereby significantly increasing both material and labor expenses.

Bay windows cost three times more than standard double-hung windows because their design requires extra panels, expanded framing, and a more complex installation process. The advanced construction method increases material consumption and demands comprehensive expertise, while specialized window treatments further elevate expenses. This all results in a significant difference in overall project cost.
