"Karoly replaced many impact windows over 10 years ago. When a problem arose with several windows, we called Karoly and Jesse Laskowske, Operations Manager, came to my home to inspect and secured the problem. He also directed me how to submit a warranty claim and was instrumental in dealing with the adjuster. When replacement parts arrived, 2 Karoly employees spent 4 hours making the repairs. This level of service is extraordinary, especially after so many years. I strongly recommend anyone looking to replace windows and doors call Karoly Windows and Doors. Many companies sell and install windows, but support years later is rare."

"All work was performed as promised. Did not give a rating on price since I did not shop for price elsewhere. Scott is a true professional. He installed new power windows and door locks in my 2012 Silverado within three days after placing my order for parts. Prior to placing my order he visited my home and disassembled the the driver's side door to show me how the parts would be installed and how it would look after installation was completed, so there were no surprises. He knows what he's doing and does it well. I found him to be honest and reliable and would use him again without hesitation."

"Wilson Windows installed replacement Cat 5 hurricane patio sliders and a window October 2024. The company was very easy to work with, every time I called someone answered the phone and were able to help me. The installers were excellent, professional, clean and worked very fast. I will use this company again and refer to my neighbors. The product is absolutely beautiful with great clarity when looking out the glass. Changed the whole look of our lanai. Dana J Norup"

"We got quotes from 5 contractors to replace all windows and sliding doors with hurricane rated, low E windows and doors. The time required for the job was 9-10 working days, as indicated by all. The verbal and written contract with Bozarth called for completion by mid-June, 2018. To-day is October 20, 2018, and the job is not yet complete. We are seniors and this incompetence by Bozarth wrecked our plans for the summer. Below a summary of events resulting in more than 4 months delay: 1) A new window pane was smashed due to careless installation practices. 2) Sloppy and careless caulking of all windows and sliding doors possibly hiding gaps that exceed the maximum allowable in installation instructions and compromise the strength required for hurricane wind pressures. Three days will be required by a painting contractor to hide the shoddy caulking inside and out, and the damage done to the stucco. 3) Careless installation of a sliding door resulted in an unacceptably large gap on top. 4) The window insert to the office door was of the wrong size and had to be re-ordered. 5) Hurricane panels for the bay window had not been ordered and were not available for installation in June. 6) The roller of a sliding door was damaged due to improper installation practices. 7)The smashed window was replaced with a pane without any labels or documentation showing it was Low E 366, insulated, HVHZ glass; and the window frame was chewed up by careless use of the tool cutting the adhesive to remove the smashed pane. Complete replacement window was installed on Sept 24, more than 3 months from original completion time frame. 8) Sliding door was re-installed to close the gap, but the lower LH frame corner broke apart due to excessive force trying to lift the frame with a wrecking bar placed underneath the track and not the vertical member of the frame, and that a piece of wood which was installed on top of the frame (causing the ugly gap) had not been removed. The frame was not repaired and the sealant not replaced. 9) The hurricane panels, when they finally arrived, were too small, did not fit, and had to be re-ordered. 10) The hurricane panel installation was not done per the contract with an h header on top, but with ugly and sloppily installed bolts sticking out of the wall which require a ladder for panel installation. The bolts had to be removed and an h header installed. 11) The hurricane panels ordered by Bozarth are 2 5/16 inches thick, the h header is 2 inches, resulting in a severe mismatch and extreme and unacceptable difficulty to forcefit the panels. 12) The hurricane panels ordered by Bozarth were not labeled and not made by the company shown in the Product Approval document provided by Bozarth, and not approved for use in an HVHZ zone as specified in the contract, and need to be ordered from the correct manufacturer. We have had all windows and all doors replaced in our previous homes with the job done as promised and in a professional manner. This experience with Bozarth has been the worst show in incompetence and a nightmare."

"I hired Reese Windows and Doors to replace 11 windows and 2 doors on my 62 year old home in Cape Coral. They did this in one day and I could not be happier. The three gentlemen they sent were polite and accommodating but far more important they knew exactly what they were doing. The work was done neatly and very professionally. Their window are beautiful, easy to use and guaranteed for life. I do not need to do any paint touch up outside or inside. All debris from the work was completely removed. Their supervisor also contacted me to make sure everything was to my satisfaction. An excellent excellent company to do business with. They did exactly what they said they were going to do. They did it quickly and they did it to my satisfaction and I am not the easiest person to satisfy when my money is being spent. I would strongly recommend them to provide new windows and doors."

"Ron Voit has been my GO TO general contractor for the past five years. He has completed several projects in two of my homes. The projects have been both small and extensive. He is currently working on rebuilding a lanai that needs both structural framing and new windows, as well as raising a concrete floor and adding tile. Ron is a master carpenter and craftsman. His finish work is impeccable! He works directly with his contractors and he is here monitoring everything they are working on. His work ethic is beyond reproach. Ron meets with his clients as often as needed to totally understand the scope of what is wanted in the completed project. Ron attends to all minor details and makes suggestions and adjustments when necessary. There is no better person to hire for your needs than Ron Voit!!!! He is a super star!!!! "

FAQs for new windows service projects in Laurel, FL

Yes, bay windows add value to a home. They enhance the property by expanding the interior space and flooding rooms with natural light. Their unique three-panel design creates a stunning focal point that elevates curb appeal and modernizes living areas. This architectural detail increases both functional space and visual appeal, directly contributing to higher home resale value.

Yes, all window types have the potential to become part of a bay window configuration when modified correctly. The transformation involves reconfiguring standard windows into a multi-panel design that features a larger central window flanked by smaller ones. This process requires precise professional planning and custom framing to ensure durability, visual balance, and structural integrity.

Bay windows typically consist of three glass panels extending beyond the home's exterior walls, with a larger center panel flanked by two smaller ones. In contrast, bow windows are composed of four to six equally sized glass panels that create a gentle curve and do not extend as far from the exterior walls.

Bay windows cost more than standard windows because their expansive, multi-panel design requires additional materials and skilled labor. Their construction involves extra glass, specialized frame components that extend outward, and complex operating mechanisms. These technical demands necessitate precise engineering and multiple expert installations, thereby significantly increasing both material and labor expenses.

Bay windows cost three times more than standard double-hung windows because their design requires extra panels, expanded framing, and a more complex installation process. The advanced construction method increases material consumption and demands comprehensive expertise, while specialized window treatments further elevate expenses. This all results in a significant difference in overall project cost.
