Also, he repaired a crack in a raised brink planter and re-laid a patio area that had been distorted by 25 years of frost heaves. All work was done professionally and thoroughly and the areas cleaned up perfectly on departure. An added benefit was that the crew were very pleasant to deal with; arrived promptly and were clearly very skilled."

However, the color of the mortar used differed from that in the rest of the brickwork, so at present it stands out. Sixpenny said to wait a period and then re-evaluate whether any change should be made. I would rate this as an "A" but for the color difference in the mortar that was not expected. The chimney cap work was done well."

Many were concerned with the expansion and bulging of the brick above the second story lintels. After several estimates, I did go with MAF Contractors Inc. Mr. Luis also noted the difficulties with the second story. But, he was solid in his review and gave one of the best prices. I had 7 lintels replaced including brick and mortar repairs. "Wow! Our home was built in 1972 and is a brick rancher. This company did an outstanding job. They replaced what bricks were damaged and redid the wall. They even treated it to a wash that made the bricks match the originals. No one else could have done such an excellent job as the mortar color was one that was discontinued 15 years ago. Eric searched and found someone who had the color and matched our home completely. Jose did the work and was timely, knowledgeable and personable. He arrived on time, worked hard, and cleaned up after himself. I can't say enough good things about this company. I would recommend this company for any stone or brick work that you need done."
