"Here is what I appreciated the most about Maxi Windows: 1) Nick was professional and spent time going over current window technology. 2) He evaluated which windows were in dire need of replacement after inspecting them. 3) He used absolutely no pressure tactics to replace windows. 4) He was on time and replaced all my windows in less than a day without leaving any mess. 5) His capping craftsmanship was amazing and he took great pride in his work. 6) After having gone to many window showrooms, I stuck with his recommendation which was the best choice I made. 7) He was nice to our dog and mindful of her when opening doors. If you are looking for an honest and quality window replacement company that wont pressure you and change prices then call Maxi Windows."

"Everything went great! My windows were spotless after they cleaned, and in addition to the screen repair, they also repaired the sliding glass door to the backyard so it would slide easier. They also recommended a place to repair one of our windows that is older, when we were told by someone else that all the windows in the room needed to be replaced rather than the one. I will definitely be using them again!"

"I must say that I read the reviews and was impressed by them. That was my sole reason for choosing Eastern Glass Block. I spoke with Ron (the owner) who immediately set up a time for someone to come do measurements which was February 25th at 12. That morning Ron called and asked if it could possibly be pushed back til 1:30. That was fine with me. The gentleman was slightly late but it was due to traffic which I completely understand. He told me Ron had fussed at him but he had tried his best to get there on time. He was very nice and had me laughing. I spoke back to Ron after the measurements who gave me the price and stated his guys would be there March 1st. I was very happy with the date because I desperately needed the windows and thought it may take longer. On that morning Ron called to let me know what time the installers (Pedro and Carlos) would be there. They were definitely on time and were very friendly. Once the work was completed, I was asked to make sure it was done the way I wanted it. I was and am very happy and pleased with the look and overall professionalism from Ron and his workers. I am definitely going to use Eastern Glass Block again and would refer them! <br />"

"They were very professional, did the job as stated, cleaned up after themselves. And in and out and the job was perfect. It's very comfortable, we had some very cheap windows down there and they improved the situation dramatically.  <br /> <br /> I would be glad to give a referral for these folks. They were great, they were tremendous."

"I had a wall in my den (converted garage; exposed brick interior and little insulation) with 2 large windows, and frequent leaks from rain through the window frames. Matus replaced the windows, including the carpentry work framing the window. They were always timely and courteous at appointments (measuring and installation). The 2 installers were incredibly professional and did an amazing job. It's been 3 years now and I have had absolutely no issues with them. I plan to go back to replace the two remaining windows in that room. <br />"

"Work was done quickly and efficiently. Quality of the effort and the windows was very good (they were not premium windows) and looked and functioned as well as any window I've used. The install quality was very good and I being somewhat picky, was very surprised and satisfied with the work. After work was done and inspection, there was no need for a call back. All good, and would hire again."

"We moved into our house and discovered that all 3 entry doors did not open or close properly. We went to the showroom and met with Bryan Russo, who was extremely helpful and honest. He didn't push anything on us that we didn't need. We got a quote for all 3 doors, and when Bryan came out to measure, he let me know that two of the doors could be repaired instead of replaced (and for a very, very reasonable price). We ordered a new door, and hardware for all 3 doors. Bryan was very responsive throughout the process. Burt the installer was fantastic, friendly, and very thorough. The new door looks great, and the old doors function like they are brand new. We were so pleased with the work from the doors that when we learned we needed 3 new windows, we only looked here. Bryan again was very helpful and didn't upsell anything. The window installation was also easy and smooth. Bryan checked in after both jobs to see how things went. If we need more work done in the future, we'll definitely use Lawrenceville Home Improvement again!"

"<p>We have used Need a Handyman many times previously for numerous jobs in our home.  At this time, the contractor had the use of my home for 4 days while we were away on vacation.  He replaced a vanity and did a ceramic tile floor and backsplash in our bathroom.  This contractor has always been nothing but professional and punctual in his time frame.  He did a beautiful job and we came home to a clean ready to use bathroom.</p> <p>We would highly recommend this contractor.</p> <p><br /></p> <p><br /></p> <p><br /></p> <p><br /></p> a <br />"

"Bloomin Blinds was a great experience from the initial contact all the way through installation. They had great communication, updated me about my appointment, and when the team would arrive. Graig, the owner, offered great advice, was very knowledgeable about their product line, and had lots of samples to choose from. We needed up going with one inch wood blinds for our kitchen and dining, for their durability and for the way they fit into our picture frame window trim. For the living room we went with a fabric roller shade, it added lovely privacy while keeping light pouring in. The quality of the products is really good, much better than what I’ve purchased from online only providers in the past. Graig and his team installed my blinds efficiently, safely and securely, and left no mess behind, I was very pleased with their professionalism. I’d recommend you give them a call if you are looking for window treatments."

FAQs for new windows service projects in Lawrence Township, NJ

Yes, bay windows add value to a home. They enhance the property by expanding the interior space and flooding rooms with natural light. Their unique three-panel design creates a stunning focal point that elevates curb appeal and modernizes living areas. This architectural detail increases both functional space and visual appeal, directly contributing to higher home resale value.

Yes, all window types have the potential to become part of a bay window configuration when modified correctly. The transformation involves reconfiguring standard windows into a multi-panel design that features a larger central window flanked by smaller ones. This process requires precise professional planning and custom framing to ensure durability, visual balance, and structural integrity.

Bay windows typically consist of three glass panels extending beyond the home's exterior walls, with a larger center panel flanked by two smaller ones. In contrast, bow windows are composed of four to six equally sized glass panels that create a gentle curve and do not extend as far from the exterior walls.

Bay windows cost more than standard windows because their expansive, multi-panel design requires additional materials and skilled labor. Their construction involves extra glass, specialized frame components that extend outward, and complex operating mechanisms. These technical demands necessitate precise engineering and multiple expert installations, thereby significantly increasing both material and labor expenses.

Bay windows cost three times more than standard double-hung windows because their design requires extra panels, expanded framing, and a more complex installation process. The advanced construction method increases material consumption and demands comprehensive expertise, while specialized window treatments further elevate expenses. This all results in a significant difference in overall project cost.
