"I hired Terry to build a 14'x20' lean to box building with no windows on an existing concrete slab. The slab wasn't checked for level and the building went up without addressing the issue. The slab issue was my fault, but I think a professional should check before building on anything. If someone is concerned for their product I think that person should say I can't build on that because it has an issue. I also understand time is money and once he started i was locked in. I am writing this to help the next guy. A slab check would have taken a minute and this is why it was so grievious to me."

"The contractor arrived on time.  We reviewed the work, which in my case was to rebuild some wooden stair handrails that had rotted out, and repair the wooden railing around my front porch. <br /> He recommended that the handrail on the steps be completely rebuilt (the anchor posts had rotted out of the ground), but the railing around the front porch was largely salvagable (we only needed to replace the top board). <br /> After the consultation, he went to purchase supplies and got to work.  I had purchased the "4 hours for $149" coupon.  The job ultimately took about 6 hours, mainly due to the railings that had to be rebuilt from scratch.  He also had to buy about ~$80 worth of lumber.  He had his tools (circular saw, etc.) with him, and cut the pieces on the front lawn.  After he was finished, he hauled all of the scraps and such away, leaving my front yard clear of debris. <br /> One word of note regarding this coupon:  it only covers labor, not materials.  Any wood or additional supplies that need to be purchased in order to complete the job, you are responsible for. <br /> Overall, I'm very happy with the quality of workmanship and the ease of working with this contractor.  I'm actually going to use them again to repair my upstairs balcony railing. <br />"

"<p>It took awhile to get the project started but Allan was always in touch and came to give an estimate and was thorough, punctual and professional.  He had other jobs to finish but once his two guys got started they showed up, got the job done and were pretty good at cleaning up.  It took a week because we changed the door and Allan picked up the Pella door that we ordered at Lowe's.  <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />We are pleased with the results.  The back door to the vegetable garden replaced a small window and had to be put in the brick side of the house.  They took matching floor tile we had and did a great job making the doors look like they have always been here.</p> <p>We got at least 4 bids for this project and Allan was the most reasonable and most thorough with his quote and explaining what needed to be done.  They also had to move electrical outlets and that added a little time to the project.  They put an additional outside outlet in for us as well as moving the inside outlet.</p> <p><br /></p> <p>I would definitely use Allan and his company again and would feel confident referring Cornerstone to friends and family.</p> <br />"

"We had the LET Group do a multifaceted remodel and construction effort on our home: remodeled the existing garage to a game room, added a bathroom, remodeled/moved the laundry room, remodeled the kitchen and main bathroom and built a new stand-alone garage with workshop. As other reviewers have noted, the LET Builder Project Manager, Luis Taipe, is fantastic. As all construction projects go, there were schedule problems and infrequent worker issues, but the key to a good project is how well these issues are managed and Luis is extremely professional and handled all issues efficiently and effectively. As other&apos;s have noted, Luis actually identified issues that my wife and I would have not noticed or ignored and had them corrected to his satisfaction first which was often more stringent than we would have requested. We struggled at the start of this project to find a good contractor and actually delayed the project several times because we were not comfortable with either the potential contractors or their proposals. This changed when we met Luis and listened to his absolute professional observations and recommendations during the initial project assessment and proposal process. His proposals were detailed and he was responsive to changes. Yes, there were several contract changes, but we were aware of them (no surprises) and were part of the process in developing the contract changes. This was a very big step for my wife and I and it was a major project ---- could not be more satisfied with the results and have already passed on recommendations to neighbors. Would recommend LET Builders to anyone with Luis as the Project Manager. Luis is personable, professional, and extremely responsive --- met his family as well and it is a very nice package to have worked with."
