"It was fantastic! They had a really organized crew. The guys set it up and knew exactly what they were to do, and they never missed anything. I called them and the gentleman came out and went over everything with me. He told me exactly what was going to happen and how it was going to happen. I had no problems at all. I priced them before and they were $1,000 cheaper than a couple of other bids that I got. The price was satisfactory, but I think they all charge too much."

"Dave was very professional, quick, efficient, and reliable. I contacted him through Angie's List one evening and he was here the next morning, gave me a quote, we agreed on it, and the project was done within 10 days.  They cleaned everything up.  It was wonderful.  My father died the day I contacted him and it was great working with someone who I had total trust and confidence in during this stressful time. <br />"

"On phone, I mentioned high price for a small deck/ramp. Friends who know about staining said the price was high. Mr. Clymer said, "well then, have them do the job!" I went ahead and agreed to his doing the staining. It looked poorly done. Later on a friend applied a second coat. These people might do other work well, but this was not a good experience."

"We had this company recommended to us by a fellow contractor and Dave Harrison himself came out to give us an estimate. We found him to be a pleasant, honest ,straightforward guy who was very knowledgeable about the product and installation. All the things I was concerned about making sure they used during installation were included and were all top notch brands. The fellows showed up right on time and began the daunting task of removing all the existing cedar siding and beginning to  prep the house for the new stuff with as much care as possible so as to not damage our landscape and plantings. They even took the time to set aside some of the better pieces of our old siding for a neighbor who had asked to use on their house.  The work team was here bright and early every day and worked a long day with few to no breaks. They all seemed to be friends from the contracting business and were very good at what they did. It seemed everyone had a speciality. Dave was on the job every day cutting, measuring and caulking so he was an integral part of the job..no subcontractors which I was pleased about. The finished product is ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL, and every single one of our neighbors has stopped by with compliments. All the small details I was picky about were addressed by Dave himself and we couldn't be happier. A great job by a great company at a great price. <br />"

FAQs for major home repair (general contractor) projects in Lewisburg, WV

In many cases, it’s much less expensive to convert a bus than to buy an RV, especially if you’re considering a newer RV model, which can exceed $100,000.

Another huge benefit of school bus conversion is that you are in control of the renovation project. You get to pick your camper's new layout and all the appliances and furniture.

While school buses can easily cost $300,000 when they're new, you can often find used buses for just a few thousand dollars. These vehicles experience extreme depreciation due to government regulations; they can only be used for so long before they must be replaced. Due to those same regulations, other government agencies cannot purchase them for their own uses, so the consumer market is the only place they can go.

The length of time it takes to convert a bus depends on the scope of the project (and size of the bus), how much work is DIY vs. done by a professional contractor, and how much work you’re doing up front.

In general, expect at least a couple of months for a conversion, but larger conversions could take six months to a year. Remember: You can tackle projects as you go: Get the basic work done so that it’s livable, and then continue to enhance your living space over time.
