"We chose to have the covers screwed to the window wells instead of utilizing brackets. He vacuumed all window wells, removing years of accumulated dirt and leaves. At our request, he also took the original 5 metal grates from the tops of the window wells and disposed of them. He arched the covers so rain would not accumulate on the tops. Buying ready made covers which would not exactly fit our window wells was our alternative option. The cost for ready made and the necessity of our own labor was more expensive than custom sized and installed covers. The brochure states: Lifetime Guarantee against damage from normal use. We're very pleased and would definitely recommend this company. In fact, I asked if there were any other services they provided so we could utilize their company further."

"Alex, the salesman, was very knowledgeable and did an excellent job of matching woodwork, siding and other windows that were not replaced. He was helpful, professional and did not use pressure to purchase the most expensive products. He worked with us on financing. Mike Ward and his crew of Justin and 2 other young men were prompt and professional. Their work was excellent and they cleaned up afterwards and vacuumed the carpet. After the windows were installed, they demonstrated how the windows worked. The new windows are high quality. We plan on using Renewal by Anderson to replace other windows and doors."

"I wish I had used these people earlier. I ordered a part for my dryer and was able through their instructional video to fix it myself. Let me tell you I am "mechanically challenged" in just about every way. LOL I may have cut myself through my own stupidity but I did it. it was easy and I did not have to pay a repair man for a simple fix. Thank you so much!"

"The crew was polite and hardworking. They replaced the siding on one wall and then repaired some small places around the house for us as well. We are planning to use them again in the future as the need arises. <br />"

FAQs for new windows service projects in Lexington, IL

Yes, bay windows add value to a home. They enhance the property by expanding the interior space and flooding rooms with natural light. Their unique three-panel design creates a stunning focal point that elevates curb appeal and modernizes living areas. This architectural detail increases both functional space and visual appeal, directly contributing to higher home resale value.

Yes, all window types have the potential to become part of a bay window configuration when modified correctly. The transformation involves reconfiguring standard windows into a multi-panel design that features a larger central window flanked by smaller ones. This process requires precise professional planning and custom framing to ensure durability, visual balance, and structural integrity.

Bay windows typically consist of three glass panels extending beyond the home's exterior walls, with a larger center panel flanked by two smaller ones. In contrast, bow windows are composed of four to six equally sized glass panels that create a gentle curve and do not extend as far from the exterior walls.

Bay windows cost more than standard windows because their expansive, multi-panel design requires additional materials and skilled labor. Their construction involves extra glass, specialized frame components that extend outward, and complex operating mechanisms. These technical demands necessitate precise engineering and multiple expert installations, thereby significantly increasing both material and labor expenses.

Bay windows cost three times more than standard double-hung windows because their design requires extra panels, expanded framing, and a more complex installation process. The advanced construction method increases material consumption and demands comprehensive expertise, while specialized window treatments further elevate expenses. This all results in a significant difference in overall project cost.
