"Great! Eric Nelson and Zach Nelson, and Manny Lopez were our window installers, and they did a magnificent job with the installation and explaining how the windows operate. They were efficient and professional?"

"I need to replace an old glass shower door in a rental property I own.  I contacted Jan Apple at Central Glass & Mirror after reading several of their reviews.  Jan quoted me a price that significantly less than the two other quotes I received.  I gave them a deposit for half and in less than two weeks they installed the new door.  The installer was very professional, quick and cleaned up after the installation.  I will definitely use them in the future for some of my other properties."

"It was fine. They were very professional and friendly to work with. I also purchased replacement windows from the and they did a really good job. They were pretty expensive. They're always very prompt. They always do what they say they will do. They're very good to work with. They went over everything before starting. The only thing was on the windows I did not realize the tint would be greenish. So I was kind of shocked when they came. I did express that. I guess I just didn't do my research. They went ahead and put the windows in. The windows are very efficient. Our utility bills are lower. I'd say the craftmanship was good. Their workmanship was good. Everything was good except that I was shocked about the tint. I wished they'd been more informational about that."

"I arrived before my scheduled appointment time. They got me right in. They were very pleasant and professional. They offered me water or soda. They did crack the new window while installing it but went right away and got another winshield. They were still able to finish the installation before my orignal appointment would have been over and of course no extra charge for the second windshield. The windshield looks and performs perfectly. Exceptional work!!  My truck needs a new windshield and I will be seeing them very soon for that repair. <br /> Steve Cooper <br />"

"We highly recommend Salute Exteriors! Cliff and his team/crew installed Hardie Siding and caulked and painted our entire 1979 house and now it looks brand new! We are so happy with their attention to every little detail! Our home looks amazing! They were so quick and cleaned up everyday!"

"I’m still waiting for them to fix a manufacturing problem. Ordered the windows in February 2018, they came out to install them in April (long wait but expected). They delayed installing the two largest windows because I pointed out to them the arch windows above the main windows didn’t have the ordered mutton bars in them (they hadn’t noticed the error). They were back out two weeks later and installed the correct arch windows and the two large picture windows. However now it was obvious that the mutton bars on the two large single hung side windows they installed earlier didn’t line up with the new large picture window they had just installed. They sent their installation manager out to remeasure the bars and said they would get back with me. Every conversation with them since has been at my initiation. Their follow up and communication is almost nil. Their manufacturing quality control is obviously non-existent and customer concern very poor. I went with Thermal Windows because they were an integrated Oklahoma company with a long track record that handled both manufacturing and installation. This was my second attempt at replacement windows on this house (the first replacement windows failed within eight years, manufacturing company (TRACO) - out of business, and selling/installation company (Windsor Door) wouldn’t stand behind the product they had previously sold me). I absolutely have no confidence now in Thermal Windows either. I can only say “buyer beware” when it comes to replacement windows."

"I called Adams Window Tinting to obtain an estimate to have a large half moon shaped window tinted. The representative I spoke to was very courteous and helpful. They provided a rough estimate over the phone and scheduled a time for a someone to come to my home and measure the window and provide a more precise estimate (they were able to schedule the home visit for a few days in the future and were able to schedule the work for one week in the future). <br /> The representative that measured my windows was very professional and helpful. They left a sample of the product to aid in my decision regarding which level of tinting to use. <br /> The installers that performed the work were also very professional and courteous. They did a superior job and I couldn't be more pleased with the window tinting. I am looking forward to utilizing their services again when we are ready to have more windows in our home tinted. I would highly recommend their services to a friend or family member. <br />"

FAQs for new windows service projects in Lexington, OK

Yes, bay windows add value to a home. They enhance the property by expanding the interior space and flooding rooms with natural light. Their unique three-panel design creates a stunning focal point that elevates curb appeal and modernizes living areas. This architectural detail increases both functional space and visual appeal, directly contributing to higher home resale value.

Yes, all window types have the potential to become part of a bay window configuration when modified correctly. The transformation involves reconfiguring standard windows into a multi-panel design that features a larger central window flanked by smaller ones. This process requires precise professional planning and custom framing to ensure durability, visual balance, and structural integrity.

Bay windows typically consist of three glass panels extending beyond the home's exterior walls, with a larger center panel flanked by two smaller ones. In contrast, bow windows are composed of four to six equally sized glass panels that create a gentle curve and do not extend as far from the exterior walls.

Bay windows cost more than standard windows because their expansive, multi-panel design requires additional materials and skilled labor. Their construction involves extra glass, specialized frame components that extend outward, and complex operating mechanisms. These technical demands necessitate precise engineering and multiple expert installations, thereby significantly increasing both material and labor expenses.

Bay windows cost three times more than standard double-hung windows because their design requires extra panels, expanded framing, and a more complex installation process. The advanced construction method increases material consumption and demands comprehensive expertise, while specialized window treatments further elevate expenses. This all results in a significant difference in overall project cost.
