"Called to request an estimate and the rep (Ed) returned my call almost immediately.  He said he'd have to look under the house as well as inside and possibly the attic to see what was involved in order to give me a price.  We decided on a time and he said since I worked, if I would leave the access door under the house open, he could start his inspection (which was the most time consuming) before I arrived and therefore I would miss less time from work.  On the appointed day, I arrived about 30 minutes after Ed was to be there.  He was coming out from the under the house and after greeting me, said "Your ductwork....." and I thought oh boy here comes some sort of bad/expensive news.   "Is perfect" Ed finished.  "Somebody knew what they were doing when they installed" it.  He gave me an estimate of the age of the unit and ductwork, which was great.  The previous owners couldn't tell me the age!  We then walked the house where he looked at all the vents and the returns.  Told me that the HVAC unit I had was not only sufficient for the size house I had, but could handle another supply vent, so that was great news.  You always wonder if you have the right size HVAC for your house.  So, we went forward with the estimate and the team came out the next week, arriving not only early but with an extra person.  Ed had estimated this job would take a greater portion of the day but with the third guy, it was done in about 4 hours.  When they were leaving, one of the guys (Carl) told me he noticed evidence of mice on the unit under the house.  Said my ducts were made of ductboard; that mice liked ductboard and if they could get in through chewing, they'd make nests in the ductwork.  Told me my ductwork was just fine, no problems, but wanted me to know.  So you know my next call was to the exterminator.  All in all, a very positive and pleasant experience.  The entire DUCTZ team was professional, courteous and knowledgeable.  I can usually sense when someone is giving me a snowjob and didn't get that impression from any of these representatives.  Would recommend and use them again without hesitation."

"It is whoever they contract with. I pay monthly almost $40.00 but it includes both repair and replacement. This is for all appliances. I have a lot of old appliances in my home. I thought I would be using them a lot. I have not had not used them alot. I have 2 furnaces and they did replace one of them."
