I wouldn't recommend another company to do pavers, concrete, or landscaping work. The attention to detail was absolutely amazing! They transformed the front and the back of my home with beautiful pavers, hand cutting each piece and laying each one of them so symmetrically. I've had at least half a dozen neighbors stop in to see their work and ask for a business card! And the clean up...my goodness. Each day they wrapped up everything, put tools away, and keep everything so tidy and clean. I really appreciated that. No mud and dirt everywhere...it was incredible! During my consult, I shared my vision with Jose and his team created the design for the back patio, the walkway, and a new front porch. I trusted his expertise and wow - it is so beautiful. They understand your investment and they deliver quality materials, quality work, and a strong commitment to make customers happy. I could not be happier as a customer and would highly recommend them if you are considering work for your yard! "We had a patio installed in our backyard. We met Bill from Sharper Cut at a home improvement show in Upper Marlboro. He was very professional from the beginning and scheduled a follow up meeting for us to come out and meet with him on that day. Before we had the meeting, he came out to the property to take pictures and see the layout. We had previously had a drawing which we sent him ahead of time. When we met with him, he had prepared several different options for a patio, including landscape. He listened intently to what we wanted and implemented it, including the seating wall, pillars and lights. He was very patient, showed the designs, modified them based on our questions and requests, and explained things very clearly. When there was a delay with a stone that we originally chose for the patio, he had us choose another stone to our liking, without making any adjustments to the price. The crew that did the work, showed up timely and were extremely professional. They would have been completed on time but got delayed because of rain storms that soaked the yard. However, as soon as it dried up they came out and finished the project. We are extremely pleased with the patio and all of our neighbors that come and see it, absolutely love it. I have recommended him to several of my neighbors and would encourage anyone looking for quality work to be done for them to consider Sharper Cut. They are awesome!!!!"

"I like them very much except for one thing, their price. They are way expensive. If I did not call and cancel it would automatically renew at a 2% increase. I was paying $50 a month when all my neighbors are paying $25. Their crews are great and they do outstanding work. I called and talked to the lady and told her that I was going with another company. They still showed up to cut my grass and when I called her back she said the phone call didn't cancel my service and I needed to send them an email. Then I started getting late charges and I could not get a bill in the mail because they did everything online. But their services were great. I was never really sure what day they were coming. I had 3 trees in the front and I had them cut down those trees. They did a great job cutting down the trees. I don't have to worry about these trees falling on my lines. That is one less thing I have to worry about."

I was greatly impressed by the way each man on the crew approached the work -- each was a shining example of great customer service -- and the artisan who placed the stones was amazing. The work was performed exactly according to specifications, plus the extras they provided such as adding a discrete drainage pipe to pull away the condensate from my air conditioning system, and everything was done exactly according to the schedule we discussed.
