"I needed to replace all of the vinyl windows in my 2500 square foot two-story house (15 openings, I believe). I researched window companies that served my area based on reviews and came up with a list of five organizations. I then requested estimates from the top two on my list. Scientific Home Services was one of those I called. While you won't see any advertisements for Scientific Home Services, their reviews put them at the top of my list. Based on the estimates I received, an examination of the windows being offered and their specifications, and the warranties being offered, it was clear that Scientific Home Services offered the best value for me. I got premium double-hung vinyl windows (Climate Solutions 8000 Series) with LoE-366 glass, argon fill, and a transferable lifetime warranty for only a few hundred dollars more (in total) than the other organization's basic window. Scientific Home Services crew installed all of the new windows in a matter of two days. The crew was organized and worked well together. They seemed to enjoy their work. When I pointed-out that a few of the windows appeared to be binding, or when they ran across other problems during installation, they knew what to do and properly addressed the situations. I'm very pleased with the new windows and their appearance, the service I have received, and how much better insulated my house now is. I highly recommend doing business with Scientific Home Services. If you're looking for windows, I recommend you give Jon or Mark a call. My experience has been that they are very honest, open, and knowledgeable about the entire process of installing and replacing windows."

"Very well. The 2 installers began removing the old windows and door at approx. 8:30 am on January 13th and had the new ones fully installed and the job completed by 1:00 pm same day. They did an excellent job, laying down tarps to eliminate tracking in any snow and cleaned up so well that we didn't need to do any follow-up cleaning after they left."

"An absolutely amazing experience. I was first told by Pella that ALL windows needed to be replaced for 60k! I did some research and found Michael and his crew. He came out, told me exactly what needed to be done (it was just wood replacement, NOT window), and walked me through step by step. The work was scheduled, the crew was EXTREMELY polite and efficient (and clean!), and now our windows look brand new! I would HIGHLY recommend this company, so glad I found them!"

"Very professional from quote to installation. Did a great job replacing 14 windows (double pane glass packs) of various sizes as well as replace some of the wooden frames that were beginning to rot. It took 2 days for a 2-person crew. Final cost was about $700 more than original quote because there were more windows with rotted wood than originally anticipated but the installation team told us when they discovered the issues and gave us the option to proceed or not before incurring the extra cost which was appreciated. Very pleased with the workmanship. Cost effective given they replaced the glass packs instead of tearing out all of the window frames which were either in good shape or restorable by the crew. We will use Apex again in the future and will recommend to friends."

"I did a ton of research on the best windows and best installation companies. I met with 9 total window companies. In the end, I narrowed the window manufacturers down to Okna and Soft-lite. Meister happened to sell/install both. Allen and his son came out to show me both windows. They were very straightforward on pros and cons and they didn't try to pull any sales tricks like some of the other companies I met with did. Their pricing was also very fair. In the end, I ended up going with the Soft-lite windows. Three months later Meister came out to install the windows (8 total). I also had them install ~90' of 6" gutters w/ guards and soffit. Over the course of three days, they worked very hard to get everything done. They were friendly and courteous. Just overall nice guys doing great work. The window screen frames from the factory were a bit sub-par. Allen noticed this while installing and ordered me replacement frames which just got installed today. Soft-lite got involved too and sent a very nice guy out to help. Everything looks great and I couldn't be happier going with Meister. They really care about their clients and do great work. They even added some very nice decorative capping around the windows. We plan on re-doing our family room in a few years and there is no doubt I'll be having Meister do the windows. Thank you!"

"We've had problems in the past with vendors not wanting to work on our door because it was old, not a standard size and the way the frame was attached to the building. I explained all of our door issues to vendors when contacting them. American Thermal Window promptly responded to my email outlining what we were looking for. I was able to set up an initial visit with Kevin who didn't seem put-off by our door. He offered some suggestions on how they would go about replacing it but asked for a day or two to be able to make sure he could provide a quote. We got a quote in a day with a good solve for our frame issue and the type of door we wanted for a great price. We also got our transom replaced to match the new door. We waited about 2 months for installation from the time we paid the deposit. Part of that was a manufacturer delay and part of that was us moving the date due to holidays and availability. The crew who did the install was prompt, quick and cleaned up after they were done. We had received the wrong type of doorknob and were missing weatherstripping and ATW came out about 10 days later with the new knob and installed all the weather stripping. We would definitely use them again."
