"These guys were great! They were friendly and very knowledgeable about what they were doing. They looked at my steps and didn't exaggerate the problem. I was told what needed to be done and that they were going to drill a few holes to inject the limestone grout, and then did exactly what they said they were going to do. I did call around to get quotes from other companies and was quoted $3000 as a starting point. I paid a fraction of that cost and got my money's worth. If you are ever in need of concrete repair, call these guys! I'm glad I did."

"all work was completed as planned. This crew had the added challenge of hauling all the concrete and limestone mixture up my steep driveway to fill the pumping machine. Having done this type of work before, I know how much additional effort this required. When work was done the crew thoroughly cleaned the work area and driveway. Crew asked for my input on the job before they started cleaning. I was very happy with the professionalism and work ethic of this crew. They would recommend Metro Concrete to anyone who needs concrete raising."

"On July 1st (2021), Mel and Stephan from Innovative Basement Authority dug a 30'x18" trench by hand to bury our sump pump discharge pipe. They installed a freeze valve, 30' of 5" PVC, and a discharge grate, exactly where we asked to place it. They had to dig right next to the garage foundation, so this was no easy feat. They also made short work of removing a 4'x4' concrete pad for us. The guys were very courteous, punctual, and seriously hard-working. They did an exceptional job, and in just half a day, I was able to check 1 more item off my honey-do list! We are hoping to hire Innovative Basement Authority for some garage floor concrete work in the near future. Thanks IBA! Brian & Terri MacDonald"

"Don't need to know anything. The workmen will answer any questions eagerly. My project was not major (level my personal front sidewalk from the City's to my door) and only took 1 hour. These guys said they can work several projects a day, but some things like lifting and doing substantial things like driveways will take most of the day."

"I appreciated the accurate estimate for the work as well as the advice on preventing it from happening again. The crew arrived on time and raised the walkway section so it’s level now. They also caulked between the driveway and garage slabs."

"It went great. Wonderful communication on date and time they could accommodate us. The job was done top notch, the sidewalk and steps are great and it’s a pleasure to drive into the garage without having an issue with the sunken apron. I did have one question which was the holes they drilled to raise the areas are quite dark and I was it sure if they would “cure” to a lighter color or not. Greg was quick to respond to my question with a “usually they do”. They also caulked the gaps."

"This family owned company lifted a sinking concrete patio in our yard 4 years ago. The husband and wife team came and analyzed and quoted. Their sons did the work. Unfortunately, the concrete started to sink again 4 years later, so we called them. They were very concerned and although so much time had elapsed, they wanted to come out and redo it for no charge. We are xtremely pleased with their excellent customer service, the fact that they stand behind their work after 4 years, and professionalism. They cleaned up and were very responsive. Highly recommend their services!"

"Norsk was one of five concrete companies we contacted for bids. They were very good about arranging a time to come to the house to give us a bid. Their description of the work to be done was a bit more involved than some of the other bids, but they explained their reasons due to the condition of the current steps and what would correct the problem. The old steps and the sidewalk were separating from each other to where the distance up to the first step had gotten close to 12 inches. Norsk favored a complete tear out and replacement of the steps and sidewalk compared to other bids that were more cosmetic in nature. However the Norsk bid fell within the range of the other bids. All bids were blind, no information was shared between companies. <br /> Starting the work was delayed a couple of times due to the weather and rain in late October. But once Norsk began the work, they finished quickly as the weather allowed. As the work was done, several hidden problems were found with the steps and sidewalk (some 30 years ago, before we owned the home, a second sidewalk was poured over an existing sidewalk). While a couple of the other bidders may have just covered these over and not found them, following Norsk's recommendation to completely replace the steps to take care of any hidden problems turned out to be the best advice we took. <br /> The work was completed in the time frame given (other than the start time delayed by weather) and the bid was spot on. When they removed the sidewalk forms, they did some extra work of doing some fill along the sidewalk. That really reduced the work we needed to do afterward. The finished steps and sidewalk look just great. We are very happy with the work and the experience. <br /> Will definitely include Norsk to provide bids and input to any future projects. <br />"

FAQs for concrete injection leveling mudjacking projects in Lindstrom, MN

Mudjacking and foam jacking differ significantly in both materials and methods. Mudjacking uses a cement-based slurry to fill voids beneath a slab, while foam jacking uses expanding polyurethane foam delivered under high pressure to achieve superior structural support. This material distinction enhances load-bearing strength and overall stability in your repair.

Mudjacking takes between one and three days to dry completely. During this time, it's important to avoid putting weight on the slab until it's fully cured. The drying time depends on the project size and environmental conditions. In contrast, polyurethane foam used in foam jacking can cure in as little as one hour.

No, mudjacking is not a permanent fix for sinking concrete. While it effectively lifts the slab and can last five to 10 years, it doesn't address underlying soil issues that may cause future sinking. For a more permanent solution, you might consider foam jacking or complete slab replacement, which can address deeper structural problems.
