"I’m quite picky about who I work with, and as both a contractor and homeowner I have worked with Andre many times. If you want to work with an Eagle Scout who thinks things through and enjoys a hard day’s work, then Andre is your guy."

"Kirk is a perfectionist and soooo detail-oriented. He always kept us up to date about what was going to be done next, who would be here to do it, what supplies or fixtures or appliances had to be on site and when. He even told us what the other contractors needed to be aware of or look out for if he couldn't be here those times. He was very respectful of our house and property protecting other parts of the house or surfaces that were in place, cleaned up the job site at the end of every day so equipment wouldn't be in the way. He even made allowances for our dog when we couldn't be there. Being without a kitchen for several months is stressful, but with Kirk we knew it would be worth it because everything was done RIGHT. He encountered some issues which could not have been foreseen and worked on finding solutions so the project was seamless and flawless. <br />"

"Original bid was $850. Somehow it ended up costing $1200. I'd rather know the price up front than be lied to. Every trip he made to the house there was a new issue that increased price. I have since spoken to a couple of installers who assured me that the items he charged me extra for should have been included at no charge and he should have known to look for them when he did the original bid. Like how thick was the existing door and the replacement door? Charging extra to replace trim that you removed? I wouldn't use him again. Which is sad. I would have paid the higher price if that's what he had quoted to begin with, but to nickel and dime at every turn seems shady and I don't want to business with that kind of businessman. The house was under contract and he knew that I had to get the job done, which he gladly took advantage of, running up the price. Don't take advantage of people. It isn't nice. Like I said, I needed the job completed, the issue wasn't the price, I would have paid the $1200, the issue was the way that the man does business. If this is the way that Wayne treated me, I shudder to think of how he would take advantage of someone else who would be easy to take advantage of, say and elderly person or someone else who was rushed. It's better to be up front and honest. The job took longer than anticipated but not excessively. I've noticed that any home improvement job seems to take longer than scheduled."

"Rick has worked for us several times in the past beginning in 2007 when we bought our townhome and needed a total cosmetic update.  He's always been prompt, incredibly tidy and always cleans the area after finishing for the day.  He thoroughly explains the work he's going to do and any problem areas he may find. He has a great eye and often has made suggestions that we found to be excellent."

FAQs for major home repair (general contractor) projects in Livermore, CO

In many cases, it’s much less expensive to convert a bus than to buy an RV, especially if you’re considering a newer RV model, which can exceed $100,000.

Another huge benefit of school bus conversion is that you are in control of the renovation project. You get to pick your camper's new layout and all the appliances and furniture.

While school buses can easily cost $300,000 when they're new, you can often find used buses for just a few thousand dollars. These vehicles experience extreme depreciation due to government regulations; they can only be used for so long before they must be replaced. Due to those same regulations, other government agencies cannot purchase them for their own uses, so the consumer market is the only place they can go.

The length of time it takes to convert a bus depends on the scope of the project (and size of the bus), how much work is DIY vs. done by a professional contractor, and how much work you’re doing up front.

In general, expect at least a couple of months for a conversion, but larger conversions could take six months to a year. Remember: You can tackle projects as you go: Get the basic work done so that it’s livable, and then continue to enhance your living space over time.
