"We recently had Mega Power Electric Inc install a solar system and panels. The President and provided excellent communication all the way through the process. He even met with us after installation to explain the almost incomprehensible PG&E bill. Although not the least expensive bid, his was competitive and I felt he was as interested in educating me about solar and the various types of panels and inverter systems as he was in selling a system. He demonstrated how the array of panels would meet our energy needs and as opposed to some of the other companies, wasn't selling us more than we needed. We are very satisfied with our solar system and I highly recommended Mega Power Electric Inc."

"The service worked out okay. One of the screens is already broken again. I kept being up sold, they kept saying they will provide me 5 screens or we should have this done, which was more of a c'mon for me to get more things. I just had screens needed to be repaired and not anything more. They showed up on time, and they did every thing on time, but when you come in, and do a bait and switch, that is not professionalism for me. Professionalism is when you come and do what you have been paid for."

At first, we met with Ron that came over and met with us about the issues that we had with our water heater and with the bills that we currently pay for electric. Ron recommended us to replace the bulky old water heater and to install a tankless system that will supply hot water immediately and with the use of less gas. We liked that idea and we decided to go for this project. Ron came over to our house with his 2 people that basically took care of all the removal and the installation of the new system. "They guys that came out worked very clean and with very little noise....when they were finished installing they painted the piping along the roof as well as along the house the same colors, matched perfectly. then the electrician came out after the inspector gave his  approval, finished the clean up and completed the panel install, same thing,  he repaired and replaced any damaged stucco the same color as the house, perfectly....they all worked clean and were very professional very happy with the worked performed.

"We did a total remodel of my husband's family home.   It took over six months.  Our next door neighbor is Andre Johnson who is starting up his own solar panel installation out of his home.  He has been in the business for  years, but felt now was the time for him to start his own business.  After we moved in, we talked to him about solar installation...we got some other bids, but his was still the best.  He and his son did the installation, then we called the city for the inspector to come out.
This is why I am writing this review.  With the total remodel, we had a lot of city inspections, and we knew how particular they are.  The inspector came out, went up on the roof for 10 or 15 minutes.  Then he told Andre he wanted to talk to us.  We thought...this can't be good.  On the contrary....the inspector wanted us to know what an outstanding job they did.  In fact, he said he had never seen such a perfect job.  He had been to two other homes for solar installation inspection prior to ours, and neither one of them passed.  He said they were done by well known, large local companies.  He said the larger companies sub-contract out the work, so you don't get the pride of ownership kind of work that we got.
Andre has five different licenses on his business card.  I did check his CA license....#958114...and he is in good standing with the state of California.  One of the other licenses was his federal contracting license, and another one was with the State of California as a disabled vet.
If you are looking for any kind of solar panel installation, PLEASE call Andre for a bid.  I really don't think you can find a better price, and I know you won't get a better job.

"Matt came to inspect our roof and found another tile that needed to be replaced in addition to the 2 that were already broken. He came the next day to do the job. In addition to replacing the tiles, he fixed other tiles that were previously repaired by another company. He was efficient and did an awesome job. Reasonable price and would use him again for any future jobs."

"They have always fixed the problems that we've had. Frustrations? Delays? At times. We live in a flawed world. But overall, service has been professional and well done. It has always been worth the monthly fee and deductibles. If you consider that most appliances today only last five years or so, breakdowns are going to be a given. Our most recent repair will require at least two service calls and an $1800 part. That more than pays for our entire year's fees."
