I chose to replace the toilet and gave him guidlines for the new toilet. He went to Home Depot, acquired the toilet returned promptly and installed it in a timely manner. After which he broke down and explained the itemized charges. After paying for the work thru my credit card, I received an e-mail summary right away...One major concern that I had in hiring Western Rooter & Plumbing was that their technicians had been vaccinated for Covid 19. I had been referred to Western earlier this year by my condo HOA for a common area leak repair in my unit. I was assured by the dispatcher that the technician coming to my condo was vaccinated against Covid. So when I had this toilet leak problem 6 months later that I had to pay for, out of a multitude of plumbing companies, I went back to Western Rooter & Plumbing after receiving the same assurance."

Sean Hunt and his partner came the same day I called, on a Friday afternoon. They performed the hydro jet service and cleared a very bad drain. Perhaps this won't work and perhaps it will, but the point is he gave us a full account of what may be happening and a number of specific things to try before pulling the trigger on a major structural ordeal. "Simi Valley - Service is good but they are pricey. Drain line under bathroom sink needed to have p-trap and clean out plug replaced. Hands were pretty much tied with an open clean out. Gave price of 2400. To make the repair. Now, I know it could be opening a can of worms but it could also be an easy repair, which it was. It was a 4 to 5 hour job. Probably won’t be using them in the future."

For the shower drain, he used a smaller auger which helped clear the blockage but we didn't realize until several days later that it was not completely cleared. I appreciated the fact that they came back early the following week to take care of the issue at no additional charge."
