"Four days after I had scheduled them for an inspection (and before they arrived at my home to conduct it), my 75-gallon water heater lost its water. I called and spoke to Jennifer, who was most accommodating, knowledgeable, and kind. She moved up my appointment to the same day and Rich was able to diagnose the problem and replace my 13-year old tank the same day. Rich worked until nearly 7:30 PM to accommodate us. It was a same-day, five-star experience. The area was clean when he left. He took great care to exceed our expectations. I highly recommend this company."

"The plumber came & assessed the problem area & told how he would do it & told me a price! It was reasonable so I accepted & he went to Lowe’s to get materials then came back & fixed it all in good time! Then since he’s an electrician he fixed my tankless water tank! I’m very pleased with both jobs! Yes I recommend him for everyone!!"

"Ron wrote me a quote to replace a leaky interior 40 gal tank water heater with an exterior tankless water heater. After comparing with other quotes, we chose to go with Ron for several reasons, but mainly because of his years in the business, willingness to discuss concerns and answer questions, and his itemized quote. Ron kept me up to date with changes when the unit he ordered was delayed. He showed about 30 minutes early day of install to get a head start on some weather. During the install, he welcomed questions and explained everything to my satisfaction. We made modifications to the work, deciding not to do the sheetrock replace or electrical (contracted separately) and this was reflected in the quote. The work was timely and well done. He and his crew cleaned up well after. The price I paid him was under the estimate. I would use him again in the future."

"From when Darren came to initially quote the job to the final handshake, I got a good feeling for his ethic as a craftsman and a businessman. I felt no angling to empty my wallet and his demenor comes off as honest and true. The job entailed replacing original 1940's 'Orangeburg' asphalt drainage that periodically became infiltrated by oak tree roots and running new water lines to separate exterior garage as well as extending gas line for dryer out there. He rallied three teams and they knocked out a considerable amount of work in under 6 hours while doing a tight, professional job. The drain line had to be hand-dug due to the pre-existing one running alongside the natural gas line from the city.
I added a few tasks on job day such as hooking up the washer / dryer and a new gas range while removing a massive 1950's stove I love for it's look, but time to send to pasture for its poor operation, restorative cost, and poor thermal insulation. The added costs for these tasks were agreeable as anything gas related makes me think of bursting into flames; so it was reassuring to have craftsmen tending to it and the old stove was a 4-man manipulation because of sheer weight and the dimensions.
I will certainly recommend A Royal Flush should anyone need a reliable, skilled, and true plumber and look forward to saving up for the next conquest - an inline water heater installation.

FAQs for water heater repair or service projects in Long Beach, MS

Warning signs include fluctuating water temperatures, a pilot light that repeatedly goes out, unusual noises from the tank, or complete heating failure. You might also detect a rotten egg smell, indicating a potential gas leak, or notice water that never reaches the proper temperature. If your water heater is over eight years old and displaying these symptoms, the gas valve is a likely culprit. Professional inspection is recommended, especially if gas odors are present.

Water heater gas valves are not universally interchangeable. Each valve must match your specific water heater's make, model, and specifications. Important compatibility factors include gas type (natural gas vs. propane), BTU rating, connection types, and physical dimensions. Using an incorrect valve can result in poor performance, premature failure, or dangerous gas leaks. Always consult your water heater's documentation or a professional plumber to identify the appropriate replacement valve for your unit.
