"The installer very sensibly installed the replacement gutters to match the previous installation. This placed the downspout about 2 feet from the end of the gutter. As I realized this would lead to pooling in the space between the end of the gutter and the downspout and be a breeding ground for mosquitoes I voiced my concern to the installer who had just finished doing a very fine job.
After consulting head-quarters he agreed to reinstall just to make me happy. I asked if he thought a simple patch over the existing downspout hole as well as installing a whole new gutter (which he was preparing to do at no extra cost). He looked relieved and said it could be guaranteed to work well. The downspout is now attached to the end of the gutter and I am very satisfied.
I will definitely be using this company again and will highly recommend them to anyone who asks.

"Highly recommend the company 1st Maintenance for remodeling, repairs, and maintenance. Licensed and bonded. 843-516-2132 - Owner Robert Arida - maintenance.robert@gmail.com I recently hired 1st Maintenance to paint interior walls, trim and doors, replace carpet with hardwood, and repair water damage/rescreen on a back porch. The Owner made sure there were sufficient workers at all times until the work was done (no delays), he supervised the job daily, did not change the price for small to medium changes and was very flexible on pricing for the project and large changes. The workers were professional, hard working, thorough and constantly helped me with projects I was doing myself. The end result turned out great! Thank you Robert!"

"Exceptional Business. Quality work ? Yes. Quality Service ? Yes. Quality workers - Yes.
I agree with all the other positive comments and definitely recommend them without hesitation. They care about the quality of their work - they have a 10 year warranty on their workmanship.
Came out to look at my roof and were very informative. They spent time pointing out my neighbors house, the shortcuts their roofer had made and why that roof may not last over time / through a hurricane.
They replaced my roof, replaced a lot of the damaged wood under the old shingles. Took down my unused oil burner chimney to below the roof line and roofed over it. Took pictures of the work in progress and gave me them when finished. Everything happened on time, and cleaned up afterwards.
I also had them replace my windows. That also went smoothly. All thier workers were great, very polite and answered any questions I had. When it was discovered that the window manufacturer had sent one window that was the wrong style, they put in a temporary window. Came back 2 weeks later and installed the correct one with out any issue.
They will be my first point of contact for future work on the house.
So happy I found someone who I can trust to do a job RIGHT.

"I cannot recommend Guard of Armor Roofing highly enough. John and Shannon went above and beyond throughout the process, coming out multiple times while I was trying to decide the color. They provided the best quote, and their workmanship and attention to detail were outstanding. I personally covered the cost of this project, and I can confidently say it was worth every penny. If I had to do it all over again, I wouldn’t hesitate for a moment. Their professionalism, dedication, and integrity set them apart, and I am grateful for the exceptional service they provided. If you’re looking for a roofing company that delivers quality work with honesty and care, look no further than Guard of Armor Roofing."

"I checked Angie's List before calling to have my gutters cleaned, but when I received Tom's estimate I decided to just replace everything; not only was the price better than what the original gutters cost me but the problems uncovered and quality of work made it well worth while. The existing gutters were only 3 years old, but were too small and improperly hung; hence there was vegetation growing in them. I had 6" gutters with Shurflo installed. There also was a 2 foot long section of soffit through which water leaked during a recent rain. The estimate for the wood work ($100) included replacing that piece of soffit plus any damage to supporting beams or trusses underneath it. Anthony and Chad were the initial crew and later that afternoon were supplemented by Richard and Jason as the problems began to surface. In removing the old gutters and rehanging the new, for example, it was discovered that the roof line of the added rear porch was 2" higher than the house itself, which means the original gutters installed had not allowed for the flow of water in the correct direction, so they never were empty. Also, as so often happens, the removal of the one piece of rotted soffit revealed wood damage extending almost 12 feet. Anthony, Chad, Richard, and Jason were able to install all the guttering except for the front of the house (where the soffit was to be replaced) before they left. Today Anthony and Jason returned with all the needed materials, including lumber and even the screening for the soffit (open attic), and completed the job. The cost for the extra 10 plus feet was only $250. Everything has been caulked and the wood surfaces are all primed, ready for me to paint. I already have spoken to them about having some reinforcement for sagging, 8-foot wooden gates early this winter and likely next spring will have them replace multiple fence posts as none of the original ones were set in concrete. These guys are really professional, showing the customer what they are doing, answering questions, polite, knowledgeable and both times their clean-up has been spotless!"

"Ray Bullock roofing provided excellent service in installing the metal roof on my house and storage shed. There were 6 very professional and courteous workers who were here on time and worked continuously until the job was finished. The workers were friendly and very pleasant. The work and clean up was excellent. Wasn't sure of the color we wanted and Mr. Bullock recommended a color which looks really nice on the house and shed. It has rained hard a couple of times since the installation and so far have found no damage or leaks. Mr. Bullock came out the next day to see how well we liked the new metal roof and take some pictures. Mr. Bullock also called on 9/7/2015 just to see if there were any problems and to check to see if everything ok. I would hire this company again and recommend him to everyone. Again, Ray Bullock Roofing did an excellent job and the house and shed looks really nice.

"Adriano was a pleasure to work with. I had my beach house completely renovated and was a bit concerned because I had never done a project like this before and being 3 hours away only added to my anxiety. I couldn't have asked for a better experience. All of the guys were extremely nice, very professional, and did excellent work. I would highly recommend them for any job you might have no matter how small or large. In fact I have a sister building a new house in the area in the near future and definitely pointing her in their direction. I"
