"They went beyond the call of duty on their own initiative. They were able to fix the leak without during the foundation of the house apart as what was quoted from another plumber. It only cost me $200 where it might have cost me $2000 if I had another plumber break through the brick foundation of my home. He said he would be there at 8 o'clock in the morning on a Monday and he was there at 8 o'clock. By 8:10, we provided me with what he thought where the leaking was and within the hour, it was fixed."

"This company is AMAZING! Small family owned company that is truly trustworthy. I used this company when my pipes froze back in February, and the guy who came out was extremely kind and helpful, plus the repairs ended up being much cheaper than expected (while many other plumbers were price gouging at the time)! Fast forward a few months, and I had a separate issue with a sewage line that had collapsed due to old/corroded piping. Juan and Chris from Royal Plumbing came out and looked at the issue. They were extremely knowledgeable and helpful, and they patiently took the time to explain the issue and answer all of my questions. Not only did they do a fantastic job with the repair, but they ultimately saved me over $8k due to their honesty about the required repairs (compared to another plumbing company that wanted to re-run all of my sewage line). I will never use a different plumbing company so long as I live in the DFW area. I would 100% recommend this company to my family and friends!"

"I am pleased at the customer service and speed of feedback from C. Woods Company. Our technician was Paul Herndon, and he was great to work with. He arrived on time, and was very polite and courteous, and very knowledgeable. I will be happy to review further once the work has been completed."

FAQs for gas piping projects in Longview, TX

Plumbers with proper licensing and credentials install and relocate gas lines. When hiring a professional, verify they have experience with gas systems and all required certifications. Some homeowners choose to work with plumbers specializing in natural gas installations, as they have extensive experience with similar projects and understand the safety requirements.

The timeline for gas line relocation varies based on project complexity, permit processing, and inspection scheduling. The physical labor takes a few hours to one day, depending on the line length. However, the actual installation work represents only part of the overall project timeline. Your contractor should provide a specific timeframe based on your circumstances and local permitting requirements.

Your gas supply must be shut off during the relocation process. This safety measure prevents gas leaks while connections are being modified. Plan for this temporary service interruption by making alternative arrangements for cooking, heating, or other gas-dependent systems in your home. The shut-off generally only lasts for a portion of the work, often a few hours.

Relocating gas lines to connect new appliances is a common reason for this type of project. Whether you're installing a gas stove, fireplace, dryer, or outdoor grill, a professional can determine the best route for extending your existing gas system. The cost will depend on the distance between your current gas line and the new appliance location.

Gas line work is not suitable for DIY projects. Natural gas is highly flammable and potentially lethal if not handled correctly. Gas leaks can be difficult to detect without specialized equipment. Professional plumbers have the proper training, tools, and experience to safely relocate gas lines while ensuring compliance with local building codes and safety standards.
