"Very well. Kris and the crew are honest, do very good work, don't cut corners, and professional in the whole process. They did what they said they would in the time frame discussed. Kris also offered several suggestions which were useful and improved the project. Very impressed with them and would recommend them."

"Todd came out and looked over the hot tub level situation and checked the level.  He explained how the concrete leveling process worked.  On the day to level, the hot tub had been removed and the new one was waiting.  Todd and his assistant, Stan, drilled a few holes in the slab and pumped in grout, re-leveling the slab.  The hot tub is in our backyard and down a hill and required about 80 feet of hose to pump the grout, so not an easy job.  Overall the new tub is much more level than the old tub previously was.  One corner that was most out of level actually had a void underneath that Todd could detect while he was drilling.  They patched the holes in the slab and they blend in well. <br />"

"We hired Jay to come to our home to help address concerns with various cracks that were appearing throughout our home. Jay was very professional and polite. He didn't mind having me follow him around the house while he inspected everything. The good news is that Jay didn't believe we have any kind of major structural issues. The piece of mind I now have made this money very well worth spent. I will keep his card in the event I need his services in the future. <br>"

"<p>I was in the process of selling my home and needed a good deal on replacing my driveway. I was away from town and needed a good contractor to complete the job without my presence. I contacted two to three contractors in the area and received an immediate response from Mac Construction. Additionally, the quotation provided from Mac Construction was significantly lower than their competitors. I received a call right away and the contact person (Cresencio) provided a quotation the same day. The job was done on time and the quality was excellent. Being on the road while having the job done was a challenge; however, Cresencio and his team completed the task with minimal complications.</p> <p>I highly recommend Mac Construction for driveway work to anybody.</p> <br />"

"Very tough to get a fixed start date. Once they started the job took double the predicted time to complete. Although there was a necessary break for a few days of bad weather, had they been on time this wouldn't have been a problem. Most days the crew (or lone worker) arrived around 10am and knocked off around 3pm. Neither we or our neighbors were surprised that the job took so long. However, the quality of the job is outstanding. They did a beautiful job on the curbs, the drain system works perfectly, and the flagstone stamped drive came out great...it looks like real stone, no cracks, great color and texture, easy to keep clean. I would definitely have them do work again, they are trustworthy, stayed on budget, and the owner and primary workers were very nice people. Just make sure you plan on extra time for the job! we really appreciate their quality work! <br />"

FAQs for concrete injection leveling mudjacking projects in Longview, WA

Mudjacking and foam jacking differ significantly in both materials and methods. Mudjacking uses a cement-based slurry to fill voids beneath a slab, while foam jacking uses expanding polyurethane foam delivered under high pressure to achieve superior structural support. This material distinction enhances load-bearing strength and overall stability in your repair.

Mudjacking takes between one and three days to dry completely. During this time, it's important to avoid putting weight on the slab until it's fully cured. The drying time depends on the project size and environmental conditions. In contrast, polyurethane foam used in foam jacking can cure in as little as one hour.

No, mudjacking is not a permanent fix for sinking concrete. While it effectively lifts the slab and can last five to 10 years, it doesn't address underlying soil issues that may cause future sinking. For a more permanent solution, you might consider foam jacking or complete slab replacement, which can address deeper structural problems.
