The crew was professional, kind, gentle, and understanding. The work was meticulously and carefully done. Their recommendations and suggestions were accurate and reliable. The business side of the project was detailed, clear, qualified, efficient, and comfortable. The carpenters even let me watch and ask questions about their work probably more than I should have been but they were always gracious and patient. Bruce was top-notch as the lead carpenter. Jeff offered excellent assistance. Steve, in his quiet and deferential way, was the perfect owner, project manager, salesman, and organizer. This was an interesting, fun, and ultimately rewarding experience for me. I love the work they did in my kitchen and bathroom. I highly recommend!"

"When we first started to plan our kitchen renovation, we struggled to get responses from many local (Arlington, VA) contracting/kitchen&bath businesses. We were referred to Capstone Remodeling via a colleague who recently completed her bathroom remodel. Stephen returned our call immediately, and scheduled walk-through within a few days. The process was impressive. We had little-to-no knowledge of how kitchen renovations typically work, and didn’t have a clear picture in our heads for the final design. Stephen spent a little time taking notes, pictures, and making drawings of the general space. Following the visit, Stephen was able to provide us with a new design concept for the kitchen, which optimized the small space available in our condo kitchen, as well as a detailed estimate including labor and materials. Once we agreed, Stephen also provided us with his contacts for Cabinetry and appliances, who worked closely with us and Capstone Remodeling to ensure we purchased the right appliances for the new space, as well as coordinate deliveries and installation for cabinets and appliances. Stephen’s team provided electrical (had to re-wire some items!), plumbing, cabinet installation, flooring, painting and backsplash installation. Additionally, they worked with us to identify areas which may require additional adjustments (cabinets not quite in line, gaps between wall/cabinet, etc), installed a new ceiling fan, and removed all the old appliances for us! Due to the pandemic causing appliance stock issues, the process took longer than any of us expected, but the team was polite, friendly, honest, and seemed to genuinely care about the outcome. While I think they were hesitant about some of our color choices, we all agreed the kitchen turned out better than expected. We will absolutely use Capstone for our upcoming bathroom renovation!"

The kitchen designer was Mona C. and she was so very helpful in helping me decide what I wanted/needed for the project. The remodeler was Tim Mitchell and he was fantastic! Very well informed and expert at his job. Tim was on time everyday and very efficient, professional, and kind... and did a great clean-up job everyday when he was finished!. Finished the job one day early. Tim and the company coordinated countertop, electrical, and plumbing services as well. The remodel looks fantastic! I highly recommend this company and Tim especially!"

They were on time, worked hard, cleaned up and did everything to our satisfaction. We were able to pick everything out (except appliances) at their showroom.
