"We hired them to lift and level the concrete floor in our glassed-in sunroom which had cracked and settled. It was a quick and easy process. We were nervous that lifting the floor could crack the glass windows but they were careful not to let that happen. I would have liked them to also fill the crack so the floor was seamless but I think they just do the lifting."

"I requested estimates from 4 businesses and Merrill with Denver Metro Concrete was the first and quickest to come out. They listened to my ideas for a new front porch in addition to replacing our driveway, and came back on the spot with a terrific estimate. Their crew thought of many things I never would have, such as changes to degree of slope required for proper drainage, and design suggestions to enhance our ideas. I will definitely be contacting Merrill for future work."

"We had the company come out after we had a flood in our basement. They leveled the concrete and sealed the area and we never had a water issue again. They cleaned the area and you never would have known they were there. We even were sent a video of the job! Very impressed and highly recommend"

"Thrasher did a great job. The foreman was knowledgeable and he explained what was going to be done. We were allowed to watch the process. They leveled the front step and the sidewalk by drilling holes in the concrete and pumping foam under them until everything was level. They caulked everything when they were done and cleaned up the area. The entrance to our home looks so much better. It was well worth the money."

FAQs for concrete injection leveling mudjacking projects in Louisville, CO

Mudjacking and foam jacking differ significantly in both materials and methods. Mudjacking uses a cement-based slurry to fill voids beneath a slab, while foam jacking uses expanding polyurethane foam delivered under high pressure to achieve superior structural support. This material distinction enhances load-bearing strength and overall stability in your repair.

Mudjacking takes between one and three days to dry completely. During this time, it's important to avoid putting weight on the slab until it's fully cured. The drying time depends on the project size and environmental conditions. In contrast, polyurethane foam used in foam jacking can cure in as little as one hour.

No, mudjacking is not a permanent fix for sinking concrete. While it effectively lifts the slab and can last five to 10 years, it doesn't address underlying soil issues that may cause future sinking. For a more permanent solution, you might consider foam jacking or complete slab replacement, which can address deeper structural problems.
