"Kat concrete came out to provide a requested estimate. Having dealt with concrete leveling in the past he was very professional on knowledgeable in Mud Jacking. I received 4 estimates and his was the lowest. I most likely would have selected KAT if my last polyfoam estimate wasn't so good. If you are looking for a mudjacker and have a very limited budget I would definitely go with KAT."

"Was very professional and thorough. Some of our foundation blocks were crumbling and the mortar between them was in bad shape. One of the foundation blocks needed to be completely replaced. He managed to find a matching block to replace that one. Repaired all of the crumbling blocks and mortar. Overall the repairs look great and blend nicely on our old house."

"I have used Rich on a few other projects around the house including replacing my roof and waterproofing the basement.  Rich is very knowledgeable , honest, hard working and has reasonable prices.  He shows up when he says he will and cleans up at the end of every day.  I highly recommend him and will use him again for other projects I have planned."

FAQs for concrete injection leveling mudjacking projects in Louisville, OH

Mudjacking and foam jacking differ significantly in both materials and methods. Mudjacking uses a cement-based slurry to fill voids beneath a slab, while foam jacking uses expanding polyurethane foam delivered under high pressure to achieve superior structural support. This material distinction enhances load-bearing strength and overall stability in your repair.

Mudjacking takes between one and three days to dry completely. During this time, it's important to avoid putting weight on the slab until it's fully cured. The drying time depends on the project size and environmental conditions. In contrast, polyurethane foam used in foam jacking can cure in as little as one hour.

No, mudjacking is not a permanent fix for sinking concrete. While it effectively lifts the slab and can last five to 10 years, it doesn't address underlying soil issues that may cause future sinking. For a more permanent solution, you might consider foam jacking or complete slab replacement, which can address deeper structural problems.
