Work scope, costs, and timing were explained patiently and in detail by George Heller up front. The sidewalk leveling work from Doro went routinely, everything on time with excellent results. The basement sealing work was a bit trickier, as electrical wires and a pipe bundle all bunched together around the main sewer line provided multiple leak paths and required a second attempt to completely resolve. Doro, Ramon, and Waldo went beyond the originally contracted scope to ensure all potential leak paths were sealed off. They didn?t care what the contract said, their focus was on my complete satisfaction, no excuses, no shortcuts. Perma-Seal stands behind their commitments and I would not hesitate to call on them again."

"Had Roto rooter come out in November, paid cash to the employee and he wrote down 11-2022 instead of 8-2023 into the warranty system and wrote in we paid $450 which we paid $900 so he stole money and now they won’t warranty are clogged main line now. Called main office the lady was very rude and cursing then hung up the phone. Roto rooter is the scummiest company I have ever used. If you want to get screwed over by a big name use Roto rooter. "I wish all the contractors on this basement project were as good to deal with as Family Waterproofing. Throughout the whole process, communication was good. Ken the owner was responsive and patient in answering all my questions and addressing concerns. They prepared a detailed contract of all work to be performed, and did what they said they would. I like that they did an exploratory dig after signing the contract to make sure we had a solid plan and avoid any surprises during installation. There was an area under the basement stairs and an old cistern that required a creative solution. They came up with a solid plan that didn't add extra cost. I asked them to pour some extra concrete under the stairs which wasn't included in the contract, which they did for a good price. The crew was friendly and had a good natured camaraderie on the job.
