"This is the third time Carl has worked for us. He did roof repair and built an outside deck before. This time we were renovating our kitchen. Carl spent 4 days removing wood paneling, painting, plumbing and even made several trips to Home Depot to pick up needed materials. Carl is an excellent worker. He is honest, reliable, conscientious and a pleasure to work with. Obviously, we highly recommend him and would definitely use him for any future home renovations or repairs.

My husband is disabled and I want to keep him at home as long as possible.  To do this I needed to convert the relatively small guest bathroom into a handicap accessible space with enough room to accommodate him, a wheelchair, and me or an aide.  Anthony, the owner of Atlantic Shores, and his son, Stephen, performed the job on time, on budget, and to perfection!  They gutted the entire bathroom, replaced the tub with a beautiful tiled shower, and replaced the toilet, vanity, and sink.  The also retiled the floor.  The bathroom looks wonderful and exceeded our expectations.  We are so pleased.

Anthony and his son were a joy to have in our home.  Their banter back and forth had me laughing at times.  They worked so well together and really seemed to enjoy what they do.  The quality of their workmanship is excellent.  They were here every day at the stated time, 8:00 a.m.  At the end of each day they cleaned up before leaving and they kept me informed of their plans.  On the final day, they made sure everything was working and they swept, vacuumed, and cleaned up the mess in the garage and hauled out all the trash to the curb for me. 

In addition to the bathroom they installed a grab bar in the second bathroom, a ceiling fan in the den, a pull down staircase in the garage and did a few other minor repairs for me. 

At some point I would like to update the master bedroom and I will not hesitate to call on Atlantic Shore Home Improvement again.  I will recommend them to anyone I know needing their services and I look forward to working with them again in the future.

"I’m not one to write a negative review about a contractor/vendor but I believe it is important to share our negative experience with Garage Makeover and their work with the epoxy Garage Floor. Nathan and his company came recommended to us from other Neighbors. When we hired them (December) the start time was between 8-9 am. They didn’t show until close to noon because of some sort of scheduling mishap. They took a lunch break They finished the job about 6:00. Right away we noticed some dull spots and divots and the workers said that would even out when dried. We didn’t use the garage for 5 days (told only needed to wait 3). The Floor does not look clean or even. Nathan (who we believe to be either the owner or manager) came to look a couple of months ago and said to just clean it with water. As this is our vacation home we aren’t here that often. This visit we used a scrub brush and are still unable to clean the floor. It is rough, dirty, uneven and has dull spots. Again we had Nathan here. He blames the air, the gardeners, my sneakers as well as “I don’t know what you bring in here!” He took some water, got on his hands and knees and scrubbed and said see? I said the spots are still there. With that, he said “well I’ve done this for 12 years and 1500 of your neighbors like my work and I’ve done all I can” and he left. I’m sure that many people that used Garage Makeover are still satisfied with the work. I’m also aware that good companies can occasionally do a bad job. My issue is that Nathan will not address the issue or take responsibility (rushed job) or rectify the inferior work. Buyer beware!"

I initially hired Master Painting because their price was the lowest of several competing bids, and I hoped that they would do a fair to good job. What I received was far beyond my expectations. The crew was on time and hard at work each morning, and they often worked well into the evening. They did an excellent job painting, and now my house looks brand new again. I can't say enough about them. I received quality, professional service and great value for the money I spent. From the initial contact, to the walk through quote, to the official written quote (within 24 hours), to selecting the paint, having the samples applied to the walls, starting and completing the work this company exceeed my expectations. They were professional, prompt and communicative. The job was started on time as promised and completed in the time frame communicated. The results transformed my residence. The painting was expertly executed and the attention to detail was laser sharp. I had a few areas that partial pieces of baseboard were replaced. The repaired area is seamless. "Company must use Eco friendly bleach because it is surly bleach. A nice side effect of their job was that my driveway is very clean. Be sure to water all your plants and grass to ensure none die from the bleach.

Updated two days after service:
My hedge in front of my house dropped all it's leaves and most of my grass is now brown. This is going to cost me upwards of $1000 to resolve. In addition to the 'rinse job' they did, I went behind and rinsed all my plants, grass, and hedges but the bleach they used is too strong and killed everything. My garage door and even gutters are miss colored/stained from their chemicals. I am updating the quality to an F. If you have no plants or grass and plan to repaint your house this is a great service!

Update after my concerns were voiced to the provider:

Hey Patrick, I'm sorry I had to update my review negatively. I'd
appreciate it if you came by to inspect my hedge, grass, garage door,
and gutters. I think you'll find that the result of your crew is not
satisfactory. Unfortunately it looks like I may have some decent repair
bills in my future from the chemical residue left from your service. I
attempted to flush all my plants for an additional 30 minutes after your
crew left and have repeated that process again today but it seems it is
to no avail.

Sure thing. Tomorrow works fine! I went out tonight and hose rinsed
the garage door and gutters in the back. I won't be able to tell if
this helped at all until tomorrow morning. - Chris

The garage door may have had some of the cleaning solution dry up on
it, which would leave a stain. The fix to that is to either spray the
whole door with the cleaning solution or to repaint it. Which would of
course not charge you for being that this is our fault.  - Chris

The main goal of our roof cleaning is to clean your roof with the least
amount of impact on the roof itself. Damage to your roof can be
thousands of dollars and pressure cleaning your roof shortens the life
of the roof and roof materials considerably.
The cleaning solution is considered eco friendly because it is not
harmful to the waste water systems or to people and pets. The solution
is mostly water but it does contain a special detergent and sodium
hypochlorite, also known as chlorine, which is found in drinking water
and swimming pools and is consider to be an approved method of cleaning
by Palm Beach, Broward, and Dade county.
The grass will get brown under the roof line but it will come back after
being cut a couple times with the lawn mower. Some plants are more
susceptible to the concentration of the cleaner than others
unfortunately. I will gladly replace anything that can't be fixed.  - Patrick

I have been looking at everything this morning and based on your
reply, would like to wait at least a week to see if everything recovers.
The garage door may be ok although there is a bit of dew this morning
which may be giving it a more uniform look. The garage door is in need
of some repairs anyway so I don't think that's as big a deal as the
hedge and the gutters. Would you suspect that the gutters will darken
back up over the next week since we expect to get a little rain? Most
of the established leaves on the hedge have dropped but the new growth
at the moment still looks ok. That's why I'd like to give it a week and
re-evaluate.  - Chris

"Overall Dan was very professional, responsive and punctual. It is amazing when you have a vendor show up at the time promised! He was always at least 10 minutes before the promised time. Dan and Tony were able to complete the long lists of items within a few days. I appreciate all of your hard work and dedication. The guys even came to my place on a Sunday to put in a half day to meet my deadlines. Be sure to be clear when giving direction - we had a couple mistakes that had to be fixed along the way due to paint selection in the wrong areas within the property. Dan and Tony fixed the issues once addressed with no complaints.
