"We have a 3 bedroom home and got a quote on having all our windows replaced. We decided to do this in 2 parts - did 5 windows in the main living area now and will finish the rest in next year. The cost I listed above is the price we were given for the entire house. The 5 windows we did this time cost $1800. We were pleased with the meeting with Mr. Noble who was professional and not at all high pressuring. He answered all our questions and made us feel very comfortable after the presentation. He did all measurements and gave us the price at our initial meeting.  This was very different from a competitor who said they would get back with us for a price. We love the windows and all their features and after comparing prices believe we got an excellent product.  The installers were courteous and cleaned up after the job. I give this company the highest rating. We were told our windows would be installed 6-8 weeks after we signed the contract and it took the promised 6 weeks. <br />"

"Estimate was smooth and felt confident that the product and installation was what we wanted, but it took a while to save the money. When I called back more than a year later, they stood by the original estimation, and gave us that price which I thought was very upstanding. I was expecting some inflation. <br /> They showed up on time and did an amazing job. The windos are beautiful and hightly functional. The house is overall much more comfortbale and nice looking as well. <br />"

"He came on a Friday and gave a detailed description of the work he wanted to do and an estimate. And then he did the work and finished it by the following Tuesday. He said he was really busy these days, but he found a way to fit my small job into his schedule and I really appreciate his flexibility. My workshop has some irregularities and uneveness and so during installation he figured out solutions on the spot. The cost came in under the estimate and the shelves are working great. He was also very easy to talk to. I will definitely hire him again. <br />"

"A pleasant experience from start to finish. The quoting process was a good two-way discussion, and cordial - no pushy salesman telling you how bad Company X or Y was. Just honest, factual, and straightforward. They quoted us a system with the panels, racking, and inverter which we wanted, not what they were pushing. The quote wasn't the best (hence the 'B' for price) but it did offer the best VALUE when we considered the equipment specification and the stability of the company - an important consideration when looking at a system with a 25 year life! The installation was scheduled by our coordinator, Sherry, and the team showed up when promised and got the job completed on time. Quality of workmanship was first rate and the entire installation was done with care, and tidied away before the team left. Permitting and PG&E inspection were all handled by Sherry, and that was also quick and flawless. Overall, the system they installed easily meets their projections in terms of performance, and it effectively pays for itself. We really couldn't be more pleased with NRG Clean Power and have recommended them to friends and neighbors. We'd recommend you give them your consideration if your looking for solar power."

FAQs for new windows service projects in Lubbock, TX

Yes, bay windows add value to a home. They enhance the property by expanding the interior space and flooding rooms with natural light. Their unique three-panel design creates a stunning focal point that elevates curb appeal and modernizes living areas. This architectural detail increases both functional space and visual appeal, directly contributing to higher home resale value.

Yes, all window types have the potential to become part of a bay window configuration when modified correctly. The transformation involves reconfiguring standard windows into a multi-panel design that features a larger central window flanked by smaller ones. This process requires precise professional planning and custom framing to ensure durability, visual balance, and structural integrity.

Bay windows typically consist of three glass panels extending beyond the home's exterior walls, with a larger center panel flanked by two smaller ones. In contrast, bow windows are composed of four to six equally sized glass panels that create a gentle curve and do not extend as far from the exterior walls.

Bay windows cost more than standard windows because their expansive, multi-panel design requires additional materials and skilled labor. Their construction involves extra glass, specialized frame components that extend outward, and complex operating mechanisms. These technical demands necessitate precise engineering and multiple expert installations, thereby significantly increasing both material and labor expenses.

Bay windows cost three times more than standard double-hung windows because their design requires extra panels, expanded framing, and a more complex installation process. The advanced construction method increases material consumption and demands comprehensive expertise, while specialized window treatments further elevate expenses. This all results in a significant difference in overall project cost.
