"Excellent! We were so apprehensive to build a custom home when we couldn't be there every day to oversee the project( we were 5 states away). Mike kept us up to date with photo's and progress reports. He met up with us to select finishes and was so helpful giving us tips and recommendations. Top quality workmanship. Truly and very happy with our forever home."

"I can only reiterate the many positive Angi reviews discussing the high standard of work produced by Mr. Rashidi and his assistant. Mr. Rashidi was able to begin work one week after providing an estimate and completed the job in four days after working steadily throughout that time. We are more than satisfied with the result and would highly recommend this company. Real craftsmanship at a reasonable price."

"We live on a hill, with a set of steps to navigate the front yard, that end in a landing at the bottom. They were destroyed in an accident. Steve and his crew at SS Creative were the contractor I selected to repair the work. They did an excellent job matching the new construction to the old construction. Although I didn't expect it, they finished the job on Christmas Eve! I intend to call them for future projects. Excellent craftsmanship!"

Hands on owner, who does and oversees the majority of the work, at times employing sub-contractors to work with me on jobs requiring specialized licenses, major plumbing, electrical and HVAC. Projects are always completed and if problems arise after the work is done, we will come back and try to resolve to everyone's satisfaction, not just leave you hanging. A lot of jobs obtained by word of mouth and we have many returning customers & references. We try to stay flexible & accommodating to the specialized needs of all our customers and do all we can to achieve the highest customer satisfaction possible. This is very important to us, and something we don't take lightly. A happy customer is a returning customer; and we want all our customers to be returning customers.

FAQs for major home repair (general contractor) projects in Luray, VA

In many cases, it’s much less expensive to convert a bus than to buy an RV, especially if you’re considering a newer RV model, which can exceed $100,000.

Another huge benefit of school bus conversion is that you are in control of the renovation project. You get to pick your camper's new layout and all the appliances and furniture.

While school buses can easily cost $300,000 when they're new, you can often find used buses for just a few thousand dollars. These vehicles experience extreme depreciation due to government regulations; they can only be used for so long before they must be replaced. Due to those same regulations, other government agencies cannot purchase them for their own uses, so the consumer market is the only place they can go.

The length of time it takes to convert a bus depends on the scope of the project (and size of the bus), how much work is DIY vs. done by a professional contractor, and how much work you’re doing up front.

In general, expect at least a couple of months for a conversion, but larger conversions could take six months to a year. Remember: You can tackle projects as you go: Get the basic work done so that it’s livable, and then continue to enhance your living space over time.
