"Capitol came out on time, and a nice gentleman named Abraham and a helper came out to give an estimate for the work. He spent about 45 minutes looking around, and to my surprise, issued a bid on the spot. The bid was reasonable and actually included a full rebuild of one chimney from scratch, including building a firebox. I was really tempted because the two other bids I received wanted to sell me a prebuilt firebox at considerable cost (almost nobody hand-builds fireboxes anymore, it seems), and I liked the idea of getting a brand new chimney as I had lots of brick damage from years of thermal cycling. However, the risk is much higher in buying this type of work because your chimney performance is completely tied to the company's ability to properly design a replacement chimney and build it properly in all its details. So, I asked for a portfolio to see their rebuild work--i.e., not repairs, but work where they had fully rebuilt chimneys, They sent a few jobs with perhaps a couple of "after" photos each, which did not engender confidence that they were proud of their work. I would think a big chimney rebuild should have had all kinds of process photos, pictures of the firebox, etc. So, I asked for two references who had rebuilds done who could vouch for the work, and that was the last I heard from this company over a week ago. So, I'm not entirely confident that their full rebuild customers are happy, given I haven't seen a single review on this website for a large job like mine. As tempted as I am to take their reasonable offer, I am not entirely sure they can do a full rebuild I would be happy with. Not having a portfolio and no references is not a good sign."

"Exceptional Service. Used All Pro Chimney Service on two occasions. First to inspect/clean fireplace and oil furnace flue (flue based on recommendation from HVAC service tech). During the cleaning/inspection the furnace flue needed repair. All Pro came back to install a stainless steel liner, seal the crown, powerwash and waterproof chimney. On both occasions (cleaning/repair) the 2-man crew arrived promptly, were professional and courteous, and worked non-stop until the project was complete. They offer a 3-year warranty on their work. Their office staff were also professional and courteous and processing of the invoice was effortless. I would definitely hire them again for future cleanings and repair."

"I had a different company come out previously to do a sweep and inspection. I have a fireplace with a wood stove insert. The first company told me that they could not pull my wood stove out because it was improperly installed and gave me a long list of items that I needed to get fixed (some of which seemed redundant) and that I shouldn't use my chimney until all the work was complete. I didn't get a good feeling from them so I called Complete Chimney to come out and do a second inspection to see what they thought. Scott and Jimmy (I think) came out and one of the first things they did was pull out my wood stove. They inspected my chimney and talked to me realistically about what I should have done. I have an old wood stove that I am not quite ready to replace, and asked if they could fit a new liner to my existing stove. He told me the new wood stoves require a 6 inch liner, where mine was an 8 inch, but told me they could install a boot to adapt to the old wood stove until we are ready for a new one. He was professional and didn't speak down to me. Since the weather was getting cold, I was worried about not getting put on their schedule in time. Scott called the office for me on the spot, and made my appointment for me. Andrew came out to do the work with a helper. They were on time, professional and courteous. I was impressed that Andrew knew the exact work that needed to be done, he even cleaned the shelf behind the stove that the previous company did not do because they never pulled my stove out. Even though they were there for several hours, there was not a speck of soot anywhere, except the workers! Will definitely use them again! <br />"

"I had gotten several quotes for a new roof and Home Wise Pros was well in line with pricing. Not the cheapest and not the most expensive. Honest explanations on services to be performed, issues that might arise, and timeframe to complete the job. A print quote by email! (Some companies had me waiting a week with many excuses) On the day of my roof installation workers (including Jay, the owner) were at my house ON TIME (7am!)! We all scooted out so they could get to work. Throughout the day Jay was sending me images of any rotten wood that was discovered or any issues that arouse. The day was long and all rotten wood was replaced, all issues resolved, they worked late to get the roof done! It was beautiful!! Two days later (due to threats of rain) they were back! On a Saturday! to do the gutters! For the 17 years that I have lived here I have had a waterfall over my front door anytime we got heavy rain …. My new big gutters have solved that problem! (Please note I had gutters installed about 10 yrs ago, and the issue remained and I was told there was no remedy for the gushing gutter over my front door!)
