He and his son, Josh, are extremely talented, resourceful and get the job done at a reasonable cost. In the following 11 months, he replaced it with gas burning fireplaces in the living room and adjoining Master Bedroom (a very difficult thing to do in the space we had), expanded the rear hall, closed several exterior windows, installed 4 exterior windows and sliding doors, re-floored, re-sided and painted most of the common areas, rebuilt and upgraded the stairway to the lower level and put in a fantastic new kitchen. The project cost six figures and encountered many setbacks as removal of walls and floors exposed poor electrical work and many other preexisting deficiencies. However, in each case, Rick, Josh and his associates developed creative solutions and, as we went along, they helped us refine our vision of what we wanted so that the finished product far exceeded our initial expectations. With his fine carpentry expertise, Rick provided a new beamed ceiling and log mantle and wood work around the new living room fireplace which is itself the artistic focal point of the room. He also transformed an eye-sore half wall into a beautiful built-in cabinet which is integral to the new dining area. Rick and Josh work quietly and efficiently and are upfront about timelines and their availability. In fact, when the demands of a difficult new client caused them to fall behind the timeline they set, they worked on weekends to get current. "I feel so fortunate to have made contact with Daniel Loving of "That Guy" on Angie's List. He is very knowledgeable and professional and did a great job pressure washing and staining my deck. I was very impressed with his attention to detail and his work ethic. He called to confirm each appointment and let me know exactly when he would arrive. When deciding on a day to stain my deck he had looked ahead at the weather forecast to offer options when it likely wouldn't rain. He even noticed other issues with my house and offered to help me with them. On the day he arrived to stain the deck, I embarrassingly realized I had totally forgotten to buy stain. Daniel took it all in stride and drove to Home Depot (not a quick trip) and bought stain and still finished the job that day. The deal I bought on Angie's list was for one coat of stain, but he provided a second coat for a very reasonable price. He had a helper with him that day and he was also very hard working, respectful and professional. More importantly "That Guy" is a super nice and friendly guy. My neighbors even commented that they liked that he smiled and waved when they were out in their yard and he drove by. My dogs even thought he was the greatest! "Paul and Brandon (father and son) from Dynamic Stucco worked on my ceiling which had humidity damage from the just installed jacuzzi. The tape in the ceiling, including nails that had been used were coming apart and the ceiling was threatening to fall down. Paul, assessed the situation and said he could do the job and I wouldn’t be able to tell where the work had been done. He also used screws to ensure the drywall was securely fastened so further damage would not be possible. Also, he mentioned my the area would be cleaned to spotless condition. He was right on all accounts. I highly recommend Paul and his son to fix anything “drywall”"
