I understand that professional services and parts can incur significant costs, it is unreasonable that the part alone could account for the entire charge without any supporting documentation. "Formerly Busy Dog or Basement Technologies and now Groundworks. I have had a terrible experience working with this company over the past two years. For a number of years we have used Busy Dog to manage and service our sump pumps and battery back up which included yearly maintenance. 2 years ago the red alarms were going off continuously and BB refused to come out to see what the issue was. We had called them multiple times. The sump finally failed causing a flood in our finished carpeted basement. They refused to pay my high deductible and took no responsibility for their negligence. They replaced the whole system. Everything was fine until 2 days ago when the sump failed due to an improperly installed PVC pipe which burst, causing another flood in our basement. When I called during this emergency, they said they were now Groundworks and did not respond to emergencies. I never received an email, mail or call stating they were bought out.
