"They arrived promptly when expected and executed the work to my complete satisfaction. The injection holes for the lifting foam don't stand out too badly and they only had to drill a few of them. The sidewalk was lifted to its proper height. After the lift, the sealing was applied and coated with quartz sand, more attractive than the original black material."

"Steve explained how and what was causing the water to come into my basement. He had very helpful videos which further explained the issue I was experiencing and how their services would fix the problem. Having water issues in your house is very stressful and frustrating, it was nice to have someone that understood what I was going through and took the time to walk me through everything."

"Funari Public Adjusters helped us get a really nice insurance claim check for a leak in our roof. They were extremely professional - prompt, responsible, polite and answered any and all questions we had along the way. They handled all of the interactions with the insurance company and with the bank. Ours was complicated by the fact that we were in the midst of refinancing and changing mortgage holders and they were able to manage that well and kept us in the loop. We ended up getting a really nice amount that will allow us to do additional projects on top of what the claim was for. Thank you Funari!"

"We are so impressed with J Rangel and Son! They did an incredible job on our patio expansion. They were timely, had great communication with us, did the job in a single day and fully cleaned up after. They really showed amazing attention to detail and were pleasant to have around as they worked. We are so impressed with the result. We’ll be calling them for any concrete needs in the future! "

"We are absolutely thrilled by the work that was done by JMJ Landscaping.  They were able to reproduce exactly what we had requested.  We wanted a flagstone patio installed with an organic layout design that complemented the curved lines of our garden.  Since our yard has a downward slope, we asked for a low and sloping stone wall to be built on one edge of the patio and to actually level out a section of the yard so that it could abut the wall and in essence create level ground in the yard.  They finished off by seeding the newly leveled portion of yard and covering it with hay.  They completed the job in a very timely fashion at the price we were quoted.  My husband was very impressed that they obtained Wissahickon schist for the wall to mirror the stone that our house is made of.  The guys were extremely professional and really took pride in their work.  The new patio is absolutely beautiful and looks as if it was part of the original design of the house.  Although it was a little expensive the quality of the workmanship and supplies was well worth it and I have no doubt that this has increased the value of our property.  I would highly recommend JMJ Landscaping. <br />"

"After talking to a few companies in the summer of 2012, we had finalized CKC as one of the possible finalists. However, we could not do the project in 2012, and Steve was very professional in following up, both in 2012 and in early 2013. Being a stickler to detail and also having seen some comments in the reviews from others that showed some misunderstanding, i wanted a thorough contract and Steve was very patient and worked with me to specify very clearly our new walkway, including pictures and flower bed design and where they'd go. Mainly because of this, we went with them even though they were more expensive than some others. The walkway was done as specified and in the timeline agreed and is exactly what we had discussed and I had in my mind. CKC employees who came to do the job were very polite, friendly and tireless, hardly took breaks! During construction, the walkway ended a few square feet larger and CKC did not charge me extra. Also, they added a few bushes extra to balance out the flower bed. All the debris was removed, the lawn was re-seeded where disturbed and the work area was cleaner than before. <br /> We are very happy with the walkway and we'd recommend CKC very highly. Steve is very polite and friendly and has a vast knowledge of plants and he is a pleasure to do business with. <br />"

FAQs for concrete injection leveling mudjacking projects in Malvern, PA

Mudjacking and foam jacking differ significantly in both materials and methods. Mudjacking uses a cement-based slurry to fill voids beneath a slab, while foam jacking uses expanding polyurethane foam delivered under high pressure to achieve superior structural support. This material distinction enhances load-bearing strength and overall stability in your repair.

Mudjacking takes between one and three days to dry completely. During this time, it's important to avoid putting weight on the slab until it's fully cured. The drying time depends on the project size and environmental conditions. In contrast, polyurethane foam used in foam jacking can cure in as little as one hour.

No, mudjacking is not a permanent fix for sinking concrete. While it effectively lifts the slab and can last five to 10 years, it doesn't address underlying soil issues that may cause future sinking. For a more permanent solution, you might consider foam jacking or complete slab replacement, which can address deeper structural problems.
