"This is my second experience with Joyce Plumbing and Heating. The first time was a new hot water tank. When you have your local city inspector tell you during inspection of the tank installation that "oh, Joyce did it? Then I don't even need to look at the installation...". That was a ringing endorsement!! We then moved to a mini-split heating/cooling system for our house. These guys were just terrific. We had 3 units put into our house and the team worked flawlessly. From Will (our super human sales guy) to Tina in the Joyce P&H office (customer care) to Calvin and his team, we were very well treated, on time and under budget. I highly recommend Joyce Plumbing and Heating and we will be using them again. You should to!!"

The entire process from getting a quote to completing the installation couldn't have been any better. Joe went over the full scope of the project including the ramifications if any additional work was needed. I don't think one could find a better HVAC company than Airco!"

"UIC was quick to respond and come up with the quote. Quote was very competitive against others. They were not so eager to do service on my old water heater though (I asked them to replace anode rods). I decided to go with them since their availability was good (2wks) and ratings on AngiesList were excellent while price was competitive. The job went well, though not without hiccups. I was expecting new boiler to be placed on the wall next to the foundation; though they built a new wall in the middle of the mechanical room, which costed me space; they said it will be 3K more to put in on the wall AFTER they arrived on the job with all the equipment and team. They refused to drain old water from my radiant heat system, saying I need a plumber to come for $290 per hour for 4 hours to drain the system and look for preexisting leaks. Had to hire some other plumber who took care of the problem for $215 in a mere hour. After the project was complete, system started to experience leaks. It was due to new drain connector that they decided to use for this project, and I was apparently first customer for it. After 3 unsuccessful attempts to fix the leak, they had to replace the connector, which addressed the issue. In addition, the system was eligible for rebate; however the rebate amount promised ended up being $450 less than actually paid; they quoted natural gas rebate though my system was on propane, which I told them upfront."

We have been using their AC and Heating Service Plan and on automatic oil and propane fill for years and we have never had an issue. My most recent experience was today for the AC Service Plan. The technician (David) was very polite, experienced, knowledgeable and respectful of our time and home. It’s always a great experience to have maintenance conducted in you home and have the technicians give you expert advice on your heating and AC system. Our AC system is well over 25 years old and still running strong thanks to Palmer. I continue to be impressed with Palmer and will remain a customer for the foreseeable future!"
