"After dealing with one other windows company delivering an aggressive sales push apparently characteristic for this industry, it was a pleasure to interact with Matt Rotondi, the owner. He provided all the information necessary, in addition the helpful online information, before making the sale, and there was no pressure for the more expensive models. He continued to be highly responsive and courteous even after we signed on the dotted line. The installation of 26 windows was done by a contracted team on the days it was scheduled to be done, and everything went well. The windows look very nice and provide the improved insulation we were hoping for. Obviously only time will tell how they hold up in the future, but I have full confidence that Matt will honor the warranty that should cover any potential issues. After the installation, one of the windows was hard to open and another one had a very small dent, probably from the delivery, but he fixed both issues without discussion. I recommend Zen Windows without any hesitation."

"AAA Rated Company!! They showed up on time and schedule, were extremely qualified and did excellent work. The install went perfectly, the 2 men that showed up were "craftsman". They vacuumed up the inside, picked up every little piece of scrap left over, carted away my old windows and overall displayed a high level of professionalism.. Would definitely hire them again. "The day was very long and the two-man crew finished at suppertime after arriving around 8 am on time. They prepped and sprayed and cleaned up. The hose had to go in a second floor window and then up to the third floor for the attic, then down to the basement later. They tried to minimize dirt with lots of floor and stair coverings. You have to accept a certain amount of dirt when you do this, I was very satisfied with their clean-up. <br /> A few days later when I was replacing items behind the knee walls I found a hole that had been missed in the attic -- I could see it and feel the cold air -- and they came back promptly to fill it with hand held spray cans. I was not unhappy at finding the hole -- it was hard to get all the spots around the ducts and could see why a small one got missed. <br /> I paid the bill in full and a few days later had an energy audit done with a blower door test and a thermal camera that pinpoints air leaks in your house. I recommend this highly. It was not intended to find any leaks where the foam was sprayed, but for other areas, however I did find cold air coming in there, so I contacted the company again. The owner himself came by and we went over the job. It resulted in another visit by the crew, the hose to the attic for a much shorter visit this time, and more foam being sprayed at no additional expense to me. They had not done a poor job the first time, I am satisfied about that. But attics are complicated, and I had not understood how air flows, even in a new house (8 years old), so I wanted the foam to be in places they don't ordinarily spray. They complied, and I was happy. <br /> The whole idea was to stop my terrible ice dams. We certainly have the snow to see if it works now. So far so good. I would hire them again. <br />"

"Danny and his partner installed all 8 windows in 3-1/2 hours. They where both very professional and courteous. Left all areas inside and out very clean. Very, very impressed with there professionalism and courtesy. Danny and I found a small scratch on 1 window between the 2 panes. Danny is ordering a new upper window and assured me it will be replaced in about 3 weeks. When Danny returns I will also show him I am having a problem latching one of the bedroom windows. I am sure Danny will be able to fix or replace the problem. I’d like to thank Shannon for this email from your service and warranty department. Overall very, very satisfied with the service and install by Windows Nation??"

"My house used to feel “chilling” cold even when the heat was set at 72. Now at 66, it feels warm. This was the best investment I’ve ever made. It has been an absolute pleasure working with Chris on this very important investment. My windows were 25-year-old vinyl double-pane and double-hung. They were absolutely horrible and I had to put up thin plastic films over the windows to prevent cold draft coming in. I set out on a journey to get my 17 windows replaced. I have gotten quotes from 10 different contractors and the quote from Window Master was the best by far. I had quotes from $500-$1200 per window. Due to the # of windows I was installing, Chris quoted $330 per window installed. I did all the research on my own and know what kind of windows are good and I know I wanted something with U-factor of less than 0.3. I was intrigued by Chris’ CraigsList posting for triple-pane windows offering much better energy efficiency at a reasonable price; his windows has a U-Factor of 0.21. They are Alside Mezzo triple-pane double-hung windows. Communication with Chris was a breeze. I called on Monday and asked him to come out and give me a quote. He said he’ll on Friday to schedule a quote. He called on Friday and scheduled me on Sunday (I wasn’t available on Saturday). Chris came on a cold Sunday morning. He brought the demo window and briefly went over the window features. He was knowledgeable, fair, polite, courteous, and did not try any aggressive sales tactics. I had a few concerns about my current windows and he answered them. When I asked whether or not I should replace my only 2-year-old-window, he suggested against replacing it because it’s in good working order, despite the fact that window is inferior to his triple-pane offerings. He measured the windows and then left for his other appointments. At the end of the week (this was 2 weeks before Christmas), I reached out to Chris and informed him I would like to proceed to get the windows with his company. He sent out a contract a day later. I printed it out, signed and sent it back to him via Email. Due to the amount of windows I was replacing, Chris offered 2-tempered glass windows and 3 bottom-frosted windows free of charge. Other companies wanted $400 just for those features. About 2-3 weeks later, I reached out to Chris to get an update on the windows. He informed me it’ll take 1-2 extra weeks for the windows to be delivered from the manufacture. One week later on a Sunday, Chris texted me to let me know the windows have finally all arrived and whether I was available the next day to get them installed. I was out of town and will be back on Sunday (7 days later). He said he’ll reach out later in the week to schedule something to get the windows installed. On Friday, he reached out again and we scheduled the upcoming Monday (MLK day) for the installation. Monday morning at 8AM, his 2-man crew finally arrived with a truck full of windows. The two men did a great job removing my old windows and installing the new windows. They also insulated window pockets as needed. Once they were done, they caulked the windows trims. The windows were just the right size so their fit was snug and air tight. Chris did a great job measuring the window sizes and his crew did an excellent job installing the windows. They replaced all 17 windows in 1 day and were done by 6PM. I was so happy with their work, I tipped each person $20. My house used to feel “chilling” cold even when the heat was set at 72. Now at 66, it feels warm. This was the best investment I’ve ever made. It was the right choice to work with Chris and his company. I’ve started referring him to my friends and co-workers already."

"Danny and his team did an outstanding job cleaning my windows. I had no idea how filthy they were until his crew cleaned them. Every day since, I am thrilled with my decision so use Windows Cleaning Expert as the while house seems brighter. Danny came right over after I called to setup an appointment and slotted us in for later that week, due to a last minute opening that they had. He was very professional and even called me the evening of the cleaning just to see if I was satisfied. I look forward to using them again."

"From my initial meeting with Phil Coleman, owner, to the installation, everything was very professional. The windows that were installed today (10/31/18) are very high quality (triple pane) and sealing the window system in place was done with great expertise. The new windows open easily and there is a screen on the outside for ventilation. The original windows were in a steel frame embedded in the concrete foundation and the windows were no longer able to close for a tight seal plus some of the window panes were cracked. Our basement will be much warmer now. I had trouble finding a company that would do this small job but Phil said no job is too small for them. I would highly recommend this company-they do big jobs and small jobs. Phil presented copies of several reference letters that were very impressive."

"My Front door was leaking water into basement when it rains. So had to replace the door. Paul came in as promised, and removed the front door and found that the root cause of the leak was not the door but window above the door. So he started working on removing the siding and replaced the boards above the door. He did a great job here sealing every part above the door and then worked on installing the new door. I like the way he worked on small corner near the window to seal it. Paul has done other jobs at my home. He pay attention to small things too when he works on any job. He finishes the job looking great and clean.."

FAQs for new windows service projects in Manchester, NH

Yes, bay windows add value to a home. They enhance the property by expanding the interior space and flooding rooms with natural light. Their unique three-panel design creates a stunning focal point that elevates curb appeal and modernizes living areas. This architectural detail increases both functional space and visual appeal, directly contributing to higher home resale value.

Yes, all window types have the potential to become part of a bay window configuration when modified correctly. The transformation involves reconfiguring standard windows into a multi-panel design that features a larger central window flanked by smaller ones. This process requires precise professional planning and custom framing to ensure durability, visual balance, and structural integrity.

Bay windows typically consist of three glass panels extending beyond the home's exterior walls, with a larger center panel flanked by two smaller ones. In contrast, bow windows are composed of four to six equally sized glass panels that create a gentle curve and do not extend as far from the exterior walls.

Bay windows cost more than standard windows because their expansive, multi-panel design requires additional materials and skilled labor. Their construction involves extra glass, specialized frame components that extend outward, and complex operating mechanisms. These technical demands necessitate precise engineering and multiple expert installations, thereby significantly increasing both material and labor expenses.

Bay windows cost three times more than standard double-hung windows because their design requires extra panels, expanded framing, and a more complex installation process. The advanced construction method increases material consumption and demands comprehensive expertise, while specialized window treatments further elevate expenses. This all results in a significant difference in overall project cost.
