"We hired Flavio to demo our old front steps and landing and build a new one. He was quick to answer my request for a quote and prompt to come out and look at the project. I think the price was fair. When it came time to do the work he was efficient and the finished product looks great. Flavio was easy to communicate with and we just had a smooth experience overall. Highly recommended!"

"Very pleased with the work of the LOPCO team. They worked hard, took care to clean up the area each day, and were very pleasant guys. Tom updated me daily as to the progress of the work, which was very helpful. If I had any questions or concern along the way, Tom and his team responded almost immediately. Very happy with the entire process, and highly recommend LOPCO."

"I had Distinctive Painting paint to entire upstairs of my home. The job consist of all the ceilings, walls, trim, doors, baseboard and minor dry wall repair. Mario did a fantastic job on the trim, I was surprised he could paint that close to our hardwood floors and carpets without touching any of them. He correct all the cracks and repaired all screw holes in the drywall and the walls and ceiling looks great. The price was comparable to other quotes that I got. Overall my wife and I were very pleased with his work and will use again."

"Poured 12 yards of concrete. Very Professional. Communication was excellent. Prompt. No contract. All over email. Concrete truck did minor damage to driveway. Damage was told to me by KFG and they repaired it."

"I cannot speak highly enough of Tom and Brad Green of Colonial Restorations. We have lived in our antique house for 16 years now, and like most old homes, some of its previous repairs were good, some not so good. Tom Green worked on this house for its previous owners, and his work was, by far, the best in the house. So, we continued to use Colonial - Tom, then Tom and Brad - as we learned the ropes about caring for an old house - our first house, old or new. Over the years, they have replaced sills and posts and beams, and rebuilt parts of our loose stone foundation. Most recently, they replaced the last original posts in our basement, (one of which was a tree trunk still with bark on it), including pouring new custom footings, in advance of our finally cementing the dirt floor. The work here is never easy - nothing is level, nothing is square - but the Greens' end result has always been beautiful - strong and made to last. Their prices are fair and without hidden costs....maybe not the lowest bid you might get, but you know it's a real bid that they will stand behind. They triage projects for us, giving us an idea of what other items will likely need attention in the next few years. We're not done with this house yet....we've never won the lottery, and there's always another repair..... and plan to use them again soon. I feel confident knowing that the next owners of this house, whoever they might be, will see the quality of the work and know that we cared enough to have the right people help us with the ongoing repair and maintenance of a 275+ year old house. I am a real person, a real customer, with no ties to the company, and was more than happy to write this review."

"My husband and I were impressed with Mr. Arena's attention to detail and the superior quality of his work. He meticulously prepared the walls and area around the windows before painting. The walls look fabulous, not a streak or brush line to be seen! After finishing his work the room was left clean and neat with no sign of paint or dust. I would highly reccommend Mr. Arena for any type of painting, indoor or outdoors. He approaches his work like an artist would.

"We used Al to finish our basement when we moved into our condo in 2015. This January, we called Al to have a complete remodel of our kitchen done. In 23 days - yes 23 days - Al completely gutted the kitchen, arranged for granite counters, cupboards and old appliances to be taken away and then proceeded to build us a kitchen that is not only functional - it is beautiful! He had to match in hardwood flooring and I still cannot see where the new flooring begins. Al is a craftsman in every sense of the word; his skill in every aspect of building and remodeling is outstanding, he is neat, cleans at the end of every days work, he is always on time and puts in a full day starting with his single glass of iced coffee. He does not stop to eat! He expects any contractors that he brings in to have the same high standards that he has, so we are confident that all aspects of the remodel would meet, if not exceed, our expectations. He has an uncanny ability to look at the big picture and thinks of everything that could go wrong so that if it does - he has a plan. His attention to detail was much appreciated as he was dealing with a true OCD homeowner. His affable personality makes it easy to consider him a friend by the time he is finished with the job. There are not enough stars to match our high esteem and recommendation for Al (Catcon LLC)."

"Work was finished perfectly & in a timely manor, which was extremely important to me since the plumbers would not fix the line until the basement was cleaned"

"After purchasing an Angie's List Deal, I received the measuring kit in the mail promptly. The template and instructions provided to draw my split table top and each of the leaves were easy to use and understand. I mailed the completed materials and received the table pads very quickly. The table splits in the middle to allow insertion of up to 3 additional leaves. The table also has 2 drop leaves. That's 7 pads. All fit perfectly. I have used them on the table for family parties (not every day) and they're durable and built to last. I keep them in the box they arrived in to protect them when not in use. These are a worthwhile investment."
