"Randy Gardner responded immediately to my request for a visit and estimate. He looked inside and outside, and told me I did not need to go to the expense of the drain tile and waterproofing. He said the house (build in 1917) had settled, and that the sidewalk along the side of the house was sinking toward the house, resulting in the water in the basement. He recommended removing the existing sidewalk, and laying new concrete with the proper slope away from the house. Although it was not a cheap fix, it was half of what I feared it would cost. The crew was on time, efficient, and did a great job. I highly recommend G Gardner Concrete and Waterproofing!"

"Our project was actually a crawlspace encapsulation. We have a lake cabin that was built in the 1960's. It had a dirt floor in the crawlspace with bare block masonry foundation walls. It also had old, damp batt insulation that was falling down from the joist spaces. American Waterworks came in, removed the old insulation (a nasty job!), laid down a 2 layer moisture barrier system and spray foamed the foundation walls and rim joist area. I can't believe what a difference this has made to our air quality, much warmer floors. We used to have to wipe down the windows every morning during the winter because of condensation. Not any more! I would highly recommend this company if you have the same needs!!"

Scott walked through options and provided honest recommendations for the garage floor and foundation repair that was needed. Any questions I had regarding the process or estimate were answered promptly. Gardner (Scott and crew) did an outstanding job replacing the garage floor and deteriorated foundation cinder blocks. The crew showed up early every day, were polite and respectful and got right to work. They went above and beyond in how they conducted their work and explained the process and improvements they were making to do the job right. "Awesome work by Tim and his team on our front steps and sidewalk. They used existing stone on the original steps to incorporate with a design that matches the house perfectly. The new steps look like they were original to the house which is exactly what we wanted. I would highly recommend and hire again in a heart beat!"

"The four guys who performed the work, were later than expected, but they called and informed me of the new arrival time, which was appreciated. They worked as quietly as possible when jackhammering out 57 year old concrete. The covered everything that I requested with plastic in an effort to control the dust. I was warned that dust would be an issue, which it was, but the preparation minimized it. They carefully worked around the plumbing lines which were in the way of the drain tile and even addressed the in-floor heating ducts we have. They placed the tile with care and packed with appropriate stone. The replacement concrete is not as even or smooth as the original, which could pose some issues later when we finish our basement. The job took less than one full day and they cleaned up well after themselves (other than all the dust). The work is only a week old, so not enough time has not elapsed to express an opinion of how well the system works to control our water issue.

"Mr. Samuel Sharpe showed up on time and performed all the tasks that I asked him to do. I contacted about 6 or 7 Contractors for this project. Only three showed up to give me a estimate,the other 4 never called me back. In this age of instant communication, I feel that sometimes customer service is a thing of the past.Of course, I remember going to the gas station and a attendant would fill your gas tank,check your oil and wash your windows.Ah,the good old days! Samuel Sharpe reminds me of those days gone by. He will go out of his way to accommodate you. I added on about 5 extra things on my original bid and he performed these tasks flawlessly.Samuel is a easy going person who keeps you informed how each and every project is going .I feel that his workmanship,professionalism,and attention to detail is superb.I feel that for everything that Sam did and the total cost that I was charged,it was a very good investment for my house. I would like to give Sam a 10 and a A+ for a job done extremely well done.
