"I cannot tell you how pleased we are. Clark is very professional and the crew is knowledgeable and they know what they are doing, they are also a very polite crew to work with. They met with my husband 2 x to go over the removal of our old 63 foot long by 8 foot wide sidewalk that ran by the side of our garage and reinstall a new sidewalk same dimensions. They removed the old sidewalk without any damage to our garage, our sidewalk butts up to the the brick foundation of the garage. My husband wanted the sidewalk installed according to his specifications and they agreed to install the sidewalk to my husbands specifications. When the sidewalk was done they back filled the dirt around the concrete with the dirt they removed. We highly recommend them."

"Gardner Construction provided a project estimate one day after contacting them. Scott walked through options and provided honest recommendations for the garage floor and foundation repair that was needed. Any questions I had regarding the process or estimate were answered promptly. Gardner (Scott and crew) did an outstanding job replacing the garage floor and deteriorated foundation cinder blocks. The crew showed up early every day, were polite and respectful and got right to work. They went above and beyond in how they conducted their work and explained the process and improvements they were making to do the job right. The job site was kept organized and they cleaned up very well after they were completed each day. The entire crew was trusting, professional and knowledgeable - and aimed for quality and perfection. "Very professional, honest and upfront from the start. We received 3 estimates and this was the best price, most knowledgeable inspector/salesman and the communication was amazing. I was very comfortable from the beginning to the end! The also came very highly recommended by my realtor and home inspector! The driveway and sidewalk were leveled to their original position perfectly. The basement wall I was worried about was anchored and the drain tile and sump pump system were installed with radon mitigation and done in less than 2 days! Everything was cleaned well and the job leader stayed in touch with me to ensure i knew what was going on and was happy with everything. Very highly recommend this company!"

"Sam did a great job on the basement, it looks fantastic. He has good attention to detail and is very responsive via text message. Sam came up with a plan that we approved but then once the demolition was complete, we had to change the plan to replace the sewer pipes. There were also low-hanging steel beams and lots of vents that made the basement remodel a challenge. 
Sam used subcontractors for some of the work but he would come and inspect periodically to see how they were doing. The City inspectors were also a challenge to work with and Sam had to stay on them to get them to come and actually do the inspections, but it finally all got done in the end. 
While the project was expensive, (especially with the unforeseen plumbing issues) I think we got a great value for our money. Sam is a nice guy and is easy to work with as new things are discovered and have to be accommodated during a remodeling project.

He was the only contractor who was willing to come out to my house and explain the process and where the mitigation system would go. The install took less than 5 hours and they cleaned up everything perfectly. The price was reasonable, the workmanship was impeccable, and John is a super friendly guy. "Fair & Square was excellent. We had a very large scope which included repainting the entire interior, rip out and rebuild of the kitchen and three bathrooms, and removal of several half-walls. The work was done to high quality and any problems were quickly addressed. The Fair & Square approach includes a project manager to do all of the coordination and planning so there's a 1-stop shop. They are not so big that they're inflexible and not so small that you feel there will be a lot of unpredictability. Also we found Fair & Square to be very adaptable to the level of cost that we wanted to have, and not either locked into being high end or budget. We were very pleased with the detail and accuracy of the cost and schedule estimate, including use of a contingency. This provided a level of predictability that we've rarely seen in this kind of major work scope. There are specific contacts in their office to help with selection and procurement of materials and with follow up warranty service. Both are very convenient and responsive. The use of a project manager and the additional staff does add some expense however it pays off in quality, predictability, and responsiveness. Toward the end there were a couple of problems where we had to reach out to the owner (Mike Otto) for help and he was very responsive and helpful. Overall a great experience and we highly recommend Fair & Square for your home renovation."

"The project eventually got finished. Might have been a little more complicated to get started on as it required the city and contractor to communicate seeing as it was a city renovation program. Things I?d like to go better is cleanup and mitigation of dust. It was limited to whatever steps I took. The pump has to be reset 1 to 2!times through a span of 60 days or so. Not sure if that?s normal and to be honest I haven?t yet reached out or looked into this on my side. Aside from that Mr Brown was easy to talk to and respectful as was his workers. When the work finally started to was down quickly. There were parts that could have gone better but it could have gone worse. I won?t say I wouldn?t recommend them at the same time I think there?s something?s that could definitely improve upon. And to add it did pass City of Plymouth inspection and their requirements for the program. I?ll have a better idea of how this works out in the future."

"Awesome work by Tim and his team on our front steps and sidewalk. They used existing stone on the original steps to incorporate with a design that matches the house perfectly. The new steps look like they were original to the house which is exactly what we wanted. I would highly recommend and hire again in a heart beat!"
