"I hired Dalinghaus Construction to install two push Piers for a freestanding column/wall (bad clay soil causing movement). I meet with Kevin to go over the scope of work and he explained everything in detail. The price was the best I can find. Took one extra day to finish the work, but they did not charge me any additional fees. 3 month later, I had a feeling that the column/wall is moving again and call Kevin. He show up in a few days and show me there is no way that wall is still moving and he was right. They are very good at what they do and customer service is the best. Thank you very much."

"Sunshine builders planned and designed our outdoor living space and executed it after we approved all the changed and modifications so it will fit exactly to what we wanted to have. At first, we honestly didn’t think that we can get all what we wanted under our budget because it was just too many things in one project. The project that we wanted to do, included a 2 levels patio with space for full BBQ with dining area, sink, refrigerator, counter top and a large stone fire pit with seating area. More than that, we added some plantings spots by building a plats pots, a new grass area, LED solar lighting fixtures, a new driveway and more things. We’ve met and interviewed many contractors and home improvement companies and landscapers over the last few months and none of them was able to compete to Eric’s experience, quality and promise to ensure their work with our expectations. Each one of them had something that caused us to move to the next one in our list and when we met with Eric, we felt that this is the right person for us and for our project. He was very respectful, hardworking and neat. We are proud that we selected this company from all the rest and because of our great experience, we highly recommend Sunshine builders and Eric including all the office staff that was involved in our house project."

"He provided the name of the engineer he would use for the structural considerations and the draftsman for the submission of plans to the City of LA for all permit requirements. As soon as the permits were issued he began work immediately. I was on site for the entire project and was extremely well pleased with the workers used, from framers to drywaller, all were excellent.  He kept me informed of all details and progress of the job.  The city inspections went smoothly.  Adam also offered decorating suggestions and referrals for flooring.  I will certainly use Adam for any future projects. <br />"

"The previous owners of the house replaced the grass in the back yard with natural stones that are cemented in. Unfortunately they did it themselves and this has already cost me a lot of headaches and money (e.g. when the gas line that was cemented over needed to be replaced). With the El Nino precursors in January another problem of the patio became hard to ignore: the patio was not leveled correctly and quite a bit of water was getting into the garage. <br /> Jeff came out twice to look at the situation and figure out ways that the issue could be resolved. We decided to only pull up half of the patio stones and not fully cement them back in so that there is also some chance for rain water to get into the ground (and to keep the cost under control which he was very conscious of). In addition to re-leveling the stones (most could be saved but some new ones had to be put in) Jeff installed a lot of new drainage (it turned out that even the existing drainage was not going anywhere - the were just slightly deeper holes in the ground). <br /> A lot of things only became clear during the job (which was >1 week) and Jeff did a lot of adjustments and extras during the work (cutting off some steal sticking out of the patio which were remnants from former beams holding up a roof, etc.) without any extra charges. <br /> He and his crew were super reliable and diligent. I had to be gone for work for a number of days and I totally trusted them to do everything as discussed - rightfully so. <br /> I am so happy to have this problem solved and in a timely manner before more storms are coming our ways. I highly recommend Jeff (and Caroly who coordinates things from the office) to anybody. <br /> <br /> <br />"

"We are very happy with the overall quality and professionalism of the work. We had Goldin Construction put a new roof on 2 Gazebos and our 2 Story home. We reused as many tiles as possible, and Shawn went out of his way to find the correct tiles to fill in and replace anything that was broken. We had a lot of broken tiles. It's rained quite a bit and no leaks at all, so we are very happy with the results. The roof looks great from the street also, all the tiles are matched."

"<p>We chose RL Remodeling from an ad in a magazine and called them. As a result Ben and Eric came to our home, after talking to them for a wile, explaining what we needed to be done in the two bathrooms. They made such a good impression that we decided to hire them, we shook hands, signed contracts and hoped that we wouldn't be disappointed. However, we were surprised Ben, Eric and their team were very professional, very pleasant to work with, always came on time, worded hard, the floors and walls were covered to protect them from harm and dust. Ben and Eric were very helpful with ideas, took us to showrooms and they finished on time with no extra expenses. We love the new bathrooms and recommend them to anyone who has any kind of work to be done in the house.</p> <br>"

"I've interviewed and worked with many contractors before and I must say Joe did the best job on my roof. he is doing quality job and honest about what type of jobs he can give discounts on and what he cannot and never thinks about cutting corners. He was friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. No issues at all. it was effortless he applies for permits deals with the city for me and does everything from A to Z. Of course he is not the cheapest. You wouldn't want the cheapest price anyways. If You want the quality work for a reasonable price, Call Joe."

FAQs for concrete injection leveling mudjacking projects in Mar-vista, CA

Mudjacking and foam jacking differ significantly in both materials and methods. Mudjacking uses a cement-based slurry to fill voids beneath a slab, while foam jacking uses expanding polyurethane foam delivered under high pressure to achieve superior structural support. This material distinction enhances load-bearing strength and overall stability in your repair.

Mudjacking takes between one and three days to dry completely. During this time, it's important to avoid putting weight on the slab until it's fully cured. The drying time depends on the project size and environmental conditions. In contrast, polyurethane foam used in foam jacking can cure in as little as one hour.

No, mudjacking is not a permanent fix for sinking concrete. While it effectively lifts the slab and can last five to 10 years, it doesn't address underlying soil issues that may cause future sinking. For a more permanent solution, you might consider foam jacking or complete slab replacement, which can address deeper structural problems.
