"Charles and Ashley were efficient and helpful and got the job done. This was a small project as home repairs go but a big deal for me ,a mobility impaired senior citizen."

"We recently had our deck replaced and couldn’t be happier with the results! Rob was the main person on the project and came by every day. He was professional, hardworking, and very respectful. Although it was supposed to be a two-man job, some issues came up and Rob ended up working solo for a couple of days, which made the project take a bit longer. Even so, he handled everything really well and made sure the quality was top-notch. The deck looks amazing, and I would definitely use Rob again in the future. Highly recommend!"

Hi, my name is Joshua. I am a father to three awesome children. I love it when you have a vision and I can help make it come to life. I take great pride in my work and my work ethic

"At first my fencing looked pretty good, but after a few months the staining did not hold up. The wood looked like it had never been stained. It's been a year, and wooden fencing looks just awful, so I decided I should review the job, and warn others. I'm very disappointed in the job that was "completed" on my fencing."

"Jeff was great. We had two other roofing companies make repairs on a leak, and it was not fixed by them. When Jeff came out, he was able to spot a possible problem area right away. The person who did the actual repairs was very thorough. He did find an issue and corrected that problem, did an overall check of the rest of the roof, and corrected some other areas. We were pleased with the company overall."

"Mike was the 2nd Contractor I contacted via Angie's List (of 3 total I requested estimates from). His ideas for how he saw the new wall was something I immediately agreed with. As an aside, the 3rd contractor had similar ideas Mike had shared. The first contractor seemed very uninterested in the potential work. Mike's estimate was the most competitive of the 3 (should be 2, since Contractor #1 never replied back). Overall, before accepting his offer, I viewed Mike as highly competent and responsible and looked forward to the upcoming work.
Mike had a 3rd helper Jeff (a competitor and friend in the same field) who did the framing and drywall. Mike has pre-informed me that Jeff would be helping on this job. Jeff was also very responsible and knowledgeable. I had no issue with Mike's recommendation to have Jeff help on this. Jeff's work on the framing took 2 days and went smoothly.
On Day 3, Mike took over and started the tape/float + texturing. This took the most time, which is expected and the overall look was flawless with the other wall texturing. During the door installation, a few tweaks needed to be made, but all of those are not an unexpected concern and the final installation looks good, doors balanced with no overlap (i.e. they open and close freely).
Mike estimated 4-5 days to complete the work (in parallel with other jobs he was doing), which at the end of day 5, he was 99% complete. He had to come back for 1 additional day (about 30min total) to do some last minute fixes/adds per my request. I do not view this as an issue, more so that Mike was willing to take the additional time to accommodate the customer.
Communication was good during the job. Mike and Jeff were open to any suggestions, answered questions and bantered. I was able to work from home the week to supervise the work being done. I learned a few tricks from watching them.
On a side note, I agreed to do all the painting and caulking as I have done that before, and sadly, enjoy it :) It also helped save in the overall cost to me in the long run. The final cost did not change from the estimate. Mike did give me a discount for going through Angie's List.
Overall, this was my first Angie's list experience and it went very well to excellent. I have no issues with the final work done and would recommend Mike (and already have) to anyone interested in his services."

"Troy Bell and his team were professional and courteous, every step of the way. Starting the job he told me what we needed and gave me an itemized cost on everything, including his labor costs. Everything was reasonable. He estimated the time it would take and although there was bad weather, and holidays, he and his team finished on time. Troy went out of his way to do extra steps with staining the lumber, painting, building and trimming. He was masterful and thoughtful in every detail of the job. He takes real pride in his work and so do his workers. The final job was literally stunning in every way. The deck is prettier than any deck we have ever seen. My husband and I are so very proud of Troy Bell's artistry in his carpentry. We would HIGHLY suggest using him for any carpentry you need. Do not go anywhere else. Troy Bell of Metro Remodeling is truly a Master Carpenter!!! ."
