"Highly recommend for gas piping to an outdoor fire pit that we <br /> installed. Their estimate was not the cheapest, but we felt they would <br /> do the best quality work, and we were right. <br />"

"They could have put the heat pump in a place that would have been easy for them to do, but it wouldn't be the best spot in the house because it would be outside; instead they pointed a spot that was harder for them to put in by the window--and that would be a lot of work--but they are well with it. They could have picked an easy way out and I wouldn't know the difference at that time. They have integrity. They have good price."

"They did a great job. That solved our problem for now but we are going to have to replace the whole system and we have talked to him about that. We were happy with the service. They were very friendly. They came out in a timely manner and explained everything. They were very thorough and it was everything that we expected. There was nothing that we were not happy with. We were looking at $4-5,000 for a new system and we were not able to do that right away so he was able to get the system working. They haven’t called us back regarding the new system but they were on time when they came. We would use them again."

"I was very shocked how fast they finished it this morning; I expected it would be "end of day" but they had it back to me by 1100 am. Not only that but they washed the car as well. As a note, something you don't see elsewhere is Integrity has "loaner cars", something I haven't seen in more years that I want to think about. Very important note: the reason I gave a "B" on price is simply because I have no idea what a comparable job would cost elsewhere. However, I am happy with the entire visit that I will be going to Integrity in the future, to the loss of my previous regular shop."

"I purchased a dishwasher and an above-range microwave from Costco, both within a few months of each other. (Rats chewed up my former dishwasher's wiring and ruined the whole unit.) On both of these installations, my experience with A-1 was nothing but very positive. These guys really know their way around kitchen appliances! They had some issues with removing the old microwave, but Cole figured out a workaround and managed to get the thing out. Our only real issue has been with Costco, because the store doesn't bother checking with A-1 before setting a delivery date. Then A-1 has to change the date because they're backed up. That glitch is all on Costco, not A-1. We've had many contractors and installers in our home, but A-1 is the best! You can count on them to work quickly, efficiently, and carefully. They're very courteous, too. God bless A-1 Installations! (I wasn't compensated for this review, by the way.)"

"The first time I used them was when I had a major flood in my utility room.  It ended up being a hazmat job cleaning up the linoleum.  My insurance company recommended that I call ServePro who specializes in cleanup after floods and fires.  The plumber who they called in was Gary's Plumbing and I was impressed with them all the way through the unpleasant project.  They were great to do business with.  I will absolutely use them again. <br /> <br /> When you have a gas hot water heater, you need a plumber to turn it off and on.  He would show up and turn it on in the morning so that I could do laundry and shower. Then he would  come back later, when the work needed to be done, and turn it off again.  They were great!"

FAQs for gas piping projects in Marcola, OR

Plumbers with proper licensing and credentials install and relocate gas lines. When hiring a professional, verify they have experience with gas systems and all required certifications. Some homeowners choose to work with plumbers specializing in natural gas installations, as they have extensive experience with similar projects and understand the safety requirements.

The timeline for gas line relocation varies based on project complexity, permit processing, and inspection scheduling. The physical labor takes a few hours to one day, depending on the line length. However, the actual installation work represents only part of the overall project timeline. Your contractor should provide a specific timeframe based on your circumstances and local permitting requirements.

Your gas supply must be shut off during the relocation process. This safety measure prevents gas leaks while connections are being modified. Plan for this temporary service interruption by making alternative arrangements for cooking, heating, or other gas-dependent systems in your home. The shut-off generally only lasts for a portion of the work, often a few hours.

Relocating gas lines to connect new appliances is a common reason for this type of project. Whether you're installing a gas stove, fireplace, dryer, or outdoor grill, a professional can determine the best route for extending your existing gas system. The cost will depend on the distance between your current gas line and the new appliance location.

Gas line work is not suitable for DIY projects. Natural gas is highly flammable and potentially lethal if not handled correctly. Gas leaks can be difficult to detect without specialized equipment. Professional plumbers have the proper training, tools, and experience to safely relocate gas lines while ensuring compliance with local building codes and safety standards.
