"Correy and his crew did a great job and we would hire him again. We had a very specific design in mind and he was able to provide a computerized sketch that helped us envision the end result. They completed the job in a timely manner, and the only thing that held up progress was a very rainy week, so we'd advise anyone with a deadline in mind to always allow extra time. Our new steps are great. We can't believe how much of an improvement they are to our back patio and only wish we'd done this sooner!"

"It is absolutely beautiful. It transformed the entire backyard. They installed late fall and returned to seal the area. We used them a few times at our prior home doing landscaping. It was beautiful so we continue to trust their work and reliability."

"They were very quick about getting to our house review all of our options and provide an estimate. Craig, our rep was very friendly throughout the entire process.  The installers were very knowledgeable and offered their opinion based on experience when something would come up that required a decision during installation.  Craig always followed up and even came out to help bring extra material inside the house as I instructed the installers to leave it behind just in case we should need any of it. <br />"

"I've hired Mike's landscaping to do a spring treatment (fertilizer and pre-emergent) of part of my lawn for the past two years. Having 7 acres, I try to develop/maintain several acres as a "lawn". I'm out in the country, surrounded be fields. When I inquired about repeat services this spring, the price more doubled ($450/acre) since I have no desire to be under an annual contract. Last year I paid $280 for treatment of 2.25 acres. I do my own treatment for annual weeds. So they priced themselves out of a quick job (under an hour) and do not reward customer loyalty."

"All in all, it went well. The project took about 24 days. The weather made it difficult at times, but they still managed. Patrick was great and always open to answering any questions that we had. They were all very polite, kept the work area neat, and they cleaned up each afternoon / evening when they left. Our house is located on the curve of a cul de sac and that made it a bit of a challenge for them to park their trucks and bring supplies in and out. They were very respectful, though, and tried not to park in front of mail boxes or driveways (but sometimes it was unavoidable). We love our new patio and get lots of compliments from people walking by. We will definitely be spending more time outdoors now that we have this nice space."

"This is a referral for Columbus Hardscapes LLC and owner Rob Hewitt. We had a paver patio installed by Columbus Hardscapes back in September of 2015. Rob came out to our house and made practical suggestions to stay within our budget, without sacrificing quality. He was very easy to work with and truly has the customer in mind throughout the entire process. Columbus Hardscapes workers were professional and even cleaned the dirt from the street after they left. We did have some concerns after our patio was installed and Rob did an excellent job addressing our issues. He stands behind his craftsmanship and products used. They are more than fair when budget is in mind. The quality of their work is surely noticeably, they take their time and make sure it is done right. I cannot thank him and his crew enough for the hard work they have put into making our patio turn out better than expected. So if you plan on landscaping or hardscaping anytime soon, I advise you to check out Columbus Hardscapes @ installmypatio.com"

"We just moved in to a house, and the previous owners didn't mow their lawn before leaving.  We bought a mower, but it wasn't going to be delivered until a couple of weeks later.  We called two other places we heard of about lawn mowing, but they wouldn't make any time for us.  Delhi Landscape came out to the property, took a look around, gave us a quote, and scheduled services for a couple of days later.  They came out and did a great job for a very reasonable price.  I would recommend them for their professionalism and the quality of the work they performed. <br />"

FAQs for outdoor kitchen building service projects in Marengo, OH

Building your own pizza oven can be a cost-effective option if you already possess the necessary firebricks or materials and have the skills to complete the project. When you have the required supplies on hand, you save on material costs and labor fees. However, if you need to source every component, a pre-made kit may not deliver the same savings.

Fire bricks are engineered to withstand the high temperatures generated inside a pizza oven, protecting the structure from cracking or spalling. Standard bricks can fail under intense heat, potentially damaging the oven and creating safety risks. By using true fire-rated bricks, homeowners maintain consistent cooking temperatures, preserve the oven’s structural integrity, and reduce the likelihood of costly repairs. The modest increase in material cost is offset by longer service life and safer operation.

An optimal pizza oven installation positions the opening exactly between 36 and 48 inches above the ground to guarantee clear visibility and safe, comfortable access. This height optimizes heat distribution and ergonomic use. In addition, dome height can vary: shorter domes produce the signature soft, charred crust of Neapolitan pies, whereas taller domes are ideal for generating the robust baking environment required for New York–style pizzas.
