He did a great job ensuring my furnace was running well and noticed the capacitor was running below factory specifications. He replaced it quickly and the whole appointment was complete in about 40 minutes. My issue was when I looked at the actual price of the capacitor I realized I was charged approximately 500% above retail. I both e-mailed and called the company to ask about this large mark-up but received no reply as of 1/5/18. "We just purchased this house this past summer.  Even though we have had the HVAC system worked on, nobody took notice of the condition of the Aprilaire.  When my husband turned it on, water ran out of it.  It wasn't an immediate concern so we put it off until nobody could stand the dryness in the house.  I opened the unit up to see if there was a serial number and discovered that most of it appeared to be missing.  I called several places but was impressed with the response of this company.  They came and checked it out. While the one part was on the truck, when the gentleman opened it up he said we had more parts than a filter missing and the unit had cracks in the housing.  The missing part was not normally needed so it had to be ordered.  
The company called me to tell me they had ordered the part (never had anybody tell me that before).  When part came in they called me again to schedule service.  The day before they called to confirm the appointment.  The day of the repair they again called to let me know the repair person would be there in 1/2 an hour and asked if that would be alright.
Instead of replacing the whole unit for $900 I agreed to use tape on the housing.  He assured me the cracks were just cosmetic.  I agreed to that since it sits unnoticed in the basement anyway.
