"Mike and his team did a huge project for me and basically turned a dust-bowl of a backyard into a beautifully hardscaped courtyard and private space. They removed all the old plantings and dirt and disposed of everything. This alone was a major project. They then layed down ~800 sq ft of Cambidgestone pavers and did an exceptional job considering it was laid on top of my septic system and they had to accommodate for the 4 access covers to the septic tanks and leaching field. They added 4 larger sized tiles that matched flawlessly to the pavers and essentially disappeared into the pattern. They also did a stucco finish to my concrete block foundation, installed cobblestones around all the planters and completed the outdoor shower area. On top of that, all his guys were super polite and hard working and couldn't have been nicer to work with. They did amazing work and we couldn't be happier with the results. The price was fair and competitive."

In the spring, his team re-leveled the entire lot, installed 2 patios with pavers, sod, a fence, prepped for a shed and put in a new asphalt driveway and vegetation. "FIRST REVIEW (08/16): I had attempted to have the first AL review removed. I wrote without taking the time of reviewing the property and land. 2ND REVIEW (2/27/2017): We found some shocking results of this firm's destructive work on our small Boston Lot. At first the 'owner' and one other worker, followed by a second group who behave unsupervised. Description: They pulled out a healthy 6 foot bush/tree needlessly in the grille area, cut too much of the 6 front bushes, and hacked 2 delicate bushes and randomly cut others. Their cuts were non-symmetrical, and unprofessional. Not sure if the bushes will ever recover from the decimation. I was illness so I really didn't stay outdoors to monitor their working. I also had a false "Angie's List" trust in them. I immediately emailed the Roberto's Affordable Landscaping 2 or 3 times, called their office and left messages, and then emailed Angie's List a few times. NO RESPONSE AT ALL. On 08/16, I spent $600 for an Angie's List Featured Affordable Landscaping Nightmare. I had hoped not to let anyone know of this in the publicly. I thought the company would replace the bush they yanked out and would provide 'medical' care to the bushes devastated. I wrote a check on site. They did not send me any money back to assist with recovery. They were nice at first but the second group of workers were butchers, specializing in deforestation, and not residential landscapers. DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY. I hope that others who have been hurt by their work have served to give them a wake up call. Be good to your customers. In the USA those that are, flourish, sustain their businesses, and get rave reviews."

"I would highly recommend Archadeck if you are looking to build a high quality and attractive deck. We selected Archadeck because of their excellent reviews, and their use of innovative helical piles, which allows them to build even during the winter months. When meeting the staff in person, we could tell they were real problem solvers. Our designer Krisoula was great to work with, and she came up with a very nice solution to the problem of our air conditioner unit. She designed a lattice gate to mask the unit, while still allowing access for servicing. The end result was practical and very attractive. Her 3D rendering was so terrific that we could really get a feel for what the actual deck would look like. She also attended an evening conservation commission meeting with us, because we needed to get town approval before we could start construction, due to wetlands bordering our property. We started construction in February, and the crew, Zach and Matt, were on site to clear snow when necessary, and remove debris while the construction was going on. Our carpenter, Ron, was truly amazing, he did his homework, and always “measured twice and cut once”. Despite some challenging circumstances, like a septic pipe being in the way, and 4 inches of ice to jackhammer before he could lay some ground footings, he took great care, and pulled it all off. He did all the deck construction, and was so exact and did beautiful work, we were in awe. He was on site very early in the morning and worked very long days despite the inclement weather. We also appreciated that he made a couple of slight modifications to the deck when we asked. And Zach returned a couple of times at the end, when it turned out that the malfunctioning deck light transformer, needed to be swapped out. A friend recently commented that the deck looks like it always belonged there. We can’t wait for really nice spring weather so that we can finally enjoy our beautiful new deck."
