"I would like to modify my original review that gave Roy an F grade for responsiveness. He's since called me, apologized and explained his reason for not returning my call. I explained the problem I've been experiencing with my sprinkler system and he gave me very good feedback. I've since learned that the problem I've been experiencing may have originated with my Municipal Water System and it may not actually be a sprinkler system issue. The water company will be coming out to repair a broken valve that may have occurred when the meter was replaced several weeks ago. Roy and I left the door open for future communication and I'm hoping that we will be able to work together in the near future."

"OMG they were great! Very often you hear of nightmare stories of poor craftsmanship, no shows etc... Leo, Frank and his team were great. When they said they were going to be there they were! Not an hour or two late, not the next day, they were ALWAYS ON TIME. The workers were super GREAT, very helpful and accommodating one was nicer than the next. They all seemed to have had some long tenure with the company which was a great sign. Could not have asked for a better selection. "I moved in to my home in 1997.  The sprinkler system never was used since I moved in and was presumably unusable.  Last fall, I received a notice from the water district threatening fines if I didn't do a back-flow test.  Discussion with the water district led to the conclusion that the cheapest approach might be to disconnect the system from the water main.  My plumber couldn't identify where the connection was.  In desperation, I called Automatic Sprinkler, because, based on the placard on the sprinkler clock, they did the original install.  <br /> When he (don't recall the name) came, he said the system was over 30 years old and was not repairable, so indeed the best solution was to do the disconnect.  He came and did his a few days later. <br /> I feel this firm is very professional, because they stood behind their work and solved my problem, even though I was never their  customer. <br /> <br />"

"After receiving subpar work and constantly not getting things right for several years such as setting the sprinklers to only 1 .5 minutes instead of 15 minutes and forgetting to turn some of my zones on, sprinkler heads constantly breaking, they decided I cant renew my contract because there is a very strict deadline to do so. I left 3 messages in the past 2 months which were also never returned. I was a good customer who bought a sprinkler system from them as well as a new pump for my well, I was also planning to have them drill a new well for me this year. Stay away from A&C not worth the headache"

"Did a great job.  We needed someone to come in and just mow the lawn once or twice until we replaced our broken mower.  It's often difficult to find someone willing to come out when you don't have a long-term contract. Coupes Cuts was willing to come out and mow the lawn while we got a new mower.  They did a great job. Would definitely recommend. <br />"
